Inorder to visualize all operations andboost the security on these roads, CCRAutoBAn reorganized its operationalcontrol center, bringing in a 7 x 2 70"OV-708 Barco video wall.

CCR AutoBAn is part of the Brazilian CCRGroup, a private infrastructure groupactive in highway concessions and pas-senger transportation. “Over the pastyears, we have invested heavily in theAnhanguera-Bandeirantes road system, with a main focus on safety and securi-ty,” says Odair Tafarelo, Service Managerof CCR AutoBAn. “The attention to safe-ty isn’t just part of our daily operationalstrategy, but is also reflected in our cor-porate social responsibility program.”

Committed to regional social develop-ment, the company has started upseveral programs and social projectsthat value education and health.Through the ‘Road to Citizenship’ pro-gram, adopted in the municipal schoolsof 17 cities, about 530,000 children gotextensive traffic education, which theycould pass on to family and friends. The‘Road to Health’ program, in turn, madetruckers aware of the health risks thatcome with their job.

Based on the importanceof the CCO and viewing the outdated, limited old visualization system, thecompany decided to upgrade the con-trol center to a modern hot spot fortraffic control.“ We wanted to fully equip our opera-tors to be able to monitor traffic in themost efficient way,” explains OdairTafarelo. “Barco assisted us with a solu-tion that fulfilled all our needs.”
