The newly designed Degree Completion Course Registration allows students to easily view their
upcoming, still needed and completed courses for their degree program in an improved user-friendly

Determining Which Courses Are Needed to Complete a DCP
By selecting courses in red, you will be able to search and determine the specific needs of
individual courses that fall into an overall particular program group.
You are then presented a display with the listing of search results for the particular course/courses
you have selected.

Step 3: Choose/Select a Particular Course to Discover the Specific Course Description, Requirements, and any other Needed Pertinent Information to Determine Whether to Register for the Selected Course.
Once inside the course information window, you will be provided the option to either place the
course into a “Cart” to “Register” for the particular course, or to close the course selection window
and continue to search for other courses to register.
Once you have completed appropriate actions for a selected course, you will then want to return to
the DCP and continue to utilize the “still needed” filter option for determining which courses are still
required for a particular DCP.
Continue this comparison of the cart until there are no longer any courses “still needed“ for the
completion of a DCP.

When adding courses to the Cart, Course Registration will perform an initial audit to determine if the
course you are adding applies to your DCP. When you submit the Cart, DCP will perform a full audit
to ensure all classes selected are needed. If you attempt to register more than one class that fulfill a
specific need on your DCP and does not fulfill any other criteria, you will be notified which courses
no longer fulfill that need on your DCP.
Please note that you can still register for multiple courses that fulfill a single requirement; however,
you may not be eligible to receive Financial Aid for any course that is marked as "Not Required" for
your degree completion.
