Insurance Scheme for Registered Craftworkers A group insurance scheme has recently been formed, offering discounted rates for Public and Products Liability Insurance, through the Insurance Corporation. Eligibility: This scheme is open to Registered Craftworkers only. Public Liability: Limit of Indemnity - £1 million any one accident. Unlimited any one year. Product Liability: Limit of £100,000 Excess: The first £100 of damage to third party property is excluded Exhibitions: Cover for participation at exhibitions in Ireland and the UK is included Classes: Cover for craftworkers giving fee-paying classes from their premises can be included Direct Sales: Cover for craftworkers selling to the public from their workshop can be included. The premiums start at £51.00 for a one-per- son craft business, with no visitors or classes at their workshop, rising to £104.00 for a 4-6 person business where there are visitors and classes held on the premises. The group scheme can also provide additional insurance such as Employers Liability, Personal Accident, Fire and Theft and Stock, and quotations for this cover can be given on request. Mathew Street, Cork, from Monday 10th to Saturday 22nd November 1997. Lisa is a graduate of Crawford College of Art &c Design, Cork, and a member of the National Sculpture Factory and is producing a body of work - at the foundry of the Crawford College of Art &C Design - for her first solo exhibition.
