Not only was Woodrow Wilson a scholar, profes-sor, writer, and Nobel Peace Prize-winner, but he was a man who loved his family deeply. His wife of 30 years, Ellen Louise Axson, inspired him through his career in education and helped him to become the 28th president of the United States. Her untimely death during his first term almost caused him to resign. Yet, he found another helpmate in Edith Bolling Galt, who guided him through a second term as president where he faced severe illness and the ravages of the Great War.

The story of Woodrow’s time in the White House with his first wife Ellen and then with his second wife Edith is brought to life by the veteran acting and writing team of husband and wife William and Sue Wills. Their engaging performance is a “must see” for history buffs, students, and anyone interested in human-interest stories.
