Searching the Online Catalogue• Keyword – for a book where you know at least the
surname of the author and some or all of the title or for any book on a particular subject.
• Author/Title - for a book with a very common title or author surname
• Title - for a particular book

Harvard Style
Usually you will see only the initial used for the first name ‘Preston’, so you will see the reference as Gralla P.
The publisher is Que Publications – sometimes you will see the publisher’s name shortened.

Indianapolis, is the place of publication. Usually only the town/city (e.g. London) is given. Sometimes the country is given. If the town is in America, the reference may list the state.

1. Type the author’s lastname / surname, e.g. ‘gralla’.If there is more than one author, choose one, usually the first author.
In this case there is only one.
2. Type the first word or words or some of the words in the title, e.g. ‘how’.
3. Click on ‘Search’.
