About Caviar & Chips Our Co-founders, Jonathan Carter-Morris and Marc Hornby met at Business
School. Jonathan was planning his own wedding in 2017 after recently being
engaged to his fiancée Gemma and wedding plans were a regular topic of
conversation between lectures for Jonathan and Marc!
Having a hospitality background of over 20 years, Jonathan had a clear idea
of what he would like on his wedding breakfast menu. Together, Jonathan
and Gemma share a love of food, visiting restaurants and trying new
recipes. There are some special places they had visited and meals they had
enjoyed together that they wanted as part of their menu and hoped to share
with their guests
Jonathan and Gemma visited lots of wedding venues and met with various
caterers, but couldn't find a caterer that could accommodate what they
had in mind. Many of their options had a fixed menu approach, so much so
that they decided to cater for their wedding day themselves.
Jonathan ended up planning and setting up a kitchen himself, brought
together a kitchen team as well as a front-of-house and bar team and
catered for his own wedding. It was an incredible day with canapes, five-
courses, matching wines and after dinner drinks – it was so wonderful in fact,
it inspired the beginning of Caviar & Chips Catering.
Both Jonathan and Marc decided to develop a bespoke, client-led catering
company that puts the client first and delivers anything the clients would
want from their wedding catering, their corporate hospitality, or private
parties.
Our aim is to create unforgettable memories for everyone. Whether the
events we cater for are in woodlands, yurts, tipis, marquees, barns or stately
homes; everyone receives the Caviar & Chips experience of exceptional
service and distinctive food.
As we don’t have any set menus, we start everything from a blank piece of
paper. That would make quite a boring brochure though, so we’ve captured
just a few examples for you to look through. Our chefs will craft your perfect
menu and then we’ll come to your home and prepare a menu tasting for
you – an experience in itself so that you can make sure everything is exactly
how you’d want it to be on your big day.

Marmite & Ale Braised Featherblade of Beef Served with confit garlic mash, green beans & a shallot & thyme jus
Slow Roast Collar of Pork Served with sweet potato fondant, buttered savoy cabbage & red wine jus
Fillet of Salmon Pan roasted fillet with crushed new potatoes, buttered courgettes & dill & white wine sauce

If you prefer the idea of a more relaxed, sociable, sharing style wedding breakfast

YOUR MENU TASTING
We’re unique in that we craft a bespoke menu for you based on your ideas
and plans for your wedding day. Choose your favourite foods, recreate
dishes from holidays or favourite restaurants or even get us to make
Granddad’s recipe for Black Bean Stew (we’ve done that before!)
When you have a menu that you’re 90% happy with, but perhaps you can’t
choose between a few dishes, then we’ll come to your home and prepare
your menu for you. Invite a few guests and make a dinner party of it. Our
menu tastings are an experience in themselves with chef in your kitchen and
host looking after you and your guests. Ask us loads of questions and together
we’ll refine your menu. We don’t charge for our tastings either. We’re so
confident you’ll love our food and service we don’t think it’s fair for you to
pay until you book us.
