For optimum perfor- mance, it is therefore necessary to clean the track before use. Follow the instructions for maximum enjoyment of your new AFX set. NEVER use Steel Wool to clean the track. Choose a layout from the Instruction Sheet. Slide the controller plugs into the terminal track. If the power cord is damaged in any way, it must be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Squeeze the trigger on the controller to make the car accelerate. The more you squeeze the trigger, the faster the car runs! Assemble track pieces on a flat, clean surface. Do not assemble on carpet. Push the track pieces together until they lock in place.
