“Catch Up” Program Our First Eucharist preparation is a 2

year program that begins in 1st grade, with children making their sacraments in

2nd grade. If your child missed one of

150th Anniversary Fundraiser PATRIOTS BASKET MOVIE NIGHT BASKET

May 19 ~ June 10

St. Andrew Parish 150th Anniversary Committee is raffling off two gift baskets to help defray the cost of up-

coming 150th events. The Patriots themed basket contains TWO tickets to a Patriots game in Octo-

ber, along with other Patriot memorabilia. Tickets are $10.00. The Movie Night basket contains gift cer-

tificates to an AMC theater, Netflix, Hulu and goodies to be enjoyed while watching a movie. Tickets

are $5.00. Tickets will be sold before and after Masses or by contacting Pam at the rectory or Nancy at

[email protected]. Winners will be drawn on June 10. Good luck and thank you for your support!

As we listen at Mass this week, the message in Scripture is clear. We have been commissioned, right along with the disciples . Go. Baptize. Teach. All strong imper-atives. Equally important- perhaps even more important –is the last line: “...I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Evangelization is the work of the whole

Church- and we are not alone. He is with us ALWAYS. Let us take Christ’s com-

Prayer Shawl Ministry Do you know a parishioner, friend or loved one who is sick, going through a difficult time, experiencing a pregnancy, facing surgery, has lost a loved one or is homebound? Our Prayer Shawl Ministry knits and crochets beautiful prayer shawls for those who could benefit from the warmth of the shawl, along with the comfort of the prayers that were said with each stitch! Shawls are blessed and available at your home Parish.

Catholic Community of Billerica Food Drive to benefit St. Vincent de Paul NEXT weekend, June 2 and 3 will be our monthly food drive at all three parishes. All non-perishable food items are welcome, however; we currently have an overabundance of pasta and rice. Items may be dropped off at the entrances of the church-es. Thank you so much!

Novena in Honor of the Sacred Heart All are invited to attend the No-vena in Honor of the Sacred Heart to be held at St. Andrew Church on Friday, June 1 at 7:00pm. The evening will begin with the rosary followed by the Novena, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benedic-tion. What a wonderful experi-

Billerica Community Pantry Volunteers from our faith communities came together this past Monday and Tuesday to make the new Billerica Community Food Pantry a great success. This “just-in-time” pantry provided over 100 families with

a wide variety of healthy, food items. The next food pantry will take place on Tuesday, June 26. Please contact Heather at 978-663-8816 or [email protected] if you would like to volunteer, make a donation, or register for assistance.
