view the Laser Show (separate charge of $3.00). We will be back at St. Peter around 8:30 PM.

Cost for the bus and dinner is $30.00. Since we have a limit of 36 reservations, you need to get your

payment (check or cash) to our Treasurer, Charlene Henke, as soon as possible. You can pay her at our

November meeting or mail a check to her (439 N Geyer, 63122.) Reservations will close when we receive 36

ST. PETER & PAUL SOUP KITCHEN The volunteers for St. Peter and Paul meals program in

Soulard fed 155 hungry guests on Wednesday November 3rd.

We had 16 volunteers to serve and help in the kitchen, 17

cooks made chicken casseroles at home and 10 other

parishioners provided side items for the meal. A special

thanks to Peg Callahan who collected dozens of blankets to

donate to the homeless men's shelter in the church basement of

St. Peter and Paul. We will continue to collect blankets for the

shelter until the end of March. If you have new or gently used blankets to donate you may drop them off at Mary Raizman's

home at 311 Weston Oaks on the front porch and she will get

them down to the shelter.

If you are interested in becoming involved with this ministry,

please contact Mary Raizman at [email protected].

Please remember the deceased and their loved ones in your

prayers:

Christmas Adopt-A-Family – We Need You!

It’s time once again for our annual adopt a

family program, sponsored by the St. Peter

Beyond Housing Ministry.

We have accepted a total of twelve area

families this year. All of the families have

children, all are struggling. All are working

towards independence through the services of

Beyond Housing and the support of people like you.

Our goal is provide new clothing items and items from a “wish

list” for each person in every family.

There are many ways you can help:

Adopt an entire family with a group of friends, neighbors or

other members of a parish ministry. Adopt one member of a family. Purchase items all families can use like towels, sheets,

kitchen supplies, etc. Donate gift cards for gasoline or for grocery, discount or

home supply stores.

Contact Julie Bruns at [email protected] or 314-803-7855

for more information.

ATTENTION ST. PETER TEENS: DO YOU NEED SERVICE HOURS?

The St. Peter Beyond Housing Ministry could use 10-12 teen

volunteers to help us with our “Breakfast with Santa” activity for

children in the Beyond Housing program. The event will be

Saturday, December 4 and we would need you from

approximately 8:00AM – 1:00PM at Beyond Housing’s

community center in Pagedale (we can assist with transportation

if needed). Your work will include assisting with set-up, face

painting, helping the children with craft activities and pictures

with Santa, serving breakfast and clean-up. If you are interested,

contact Julie Bruns at [email protected] or 314-803-7855.
