Dear Stuart,

I am a student from Newcastle University and have just completed the Bachelor of Design in Architecture. I have taken a year off from university to gain experience and develop my skills before returning to complete the Masters of Architecture. I am eager to learn as much as I can.

I want to work at CKDS because I would love the opportunity to work in a collaborcollaborative team environment. I am interested in working on projects of various scale and gaining experience in residential, commercial and community focused design.

In January this year I travelled to Nepal to work on a sanitation program run by Paul Pholeros. This greatly increased my understanding of how sustainability is inherent in good design. I saw how good communication is vital, and improved my communication skills.

During my undeDuring my undergraduate degree I developed strong presentation skills and model making skills. As well as communicating visually I have a significant interest in writing, developed through history and theory studies. I enjoy hand drawing as well as computer aided. I am proficient in using ArchiCAD, Photoshop and Artlantis. I am using my time off from university to improve my computer skills and am currently learning Sketchup and Revit. I am eager to learn and will put in the time to become skilled at your preferred programs. I I would love to hear about any opportunities you have available.
