UPCOMING EVENTS Bap!sm Prepara!on Class which is scheduled for Moth-er's Day, May 13th will be changed to Sunday, May 20th following the 9:00 am Mass.

Roses For Mom We remember all the sacrifices mothers have made throughout their lives to help their children grow and develop into adulthood. What be+er way to honor your mother than with roses! The Dubuque County Right to Life will have single roses available for a dona"on (suggested $2) over Mother’s Day weekend, May 12th and 13th a$er Mass.

Dubuque Area Catholic Evangeliza!on Outreach (CEO) will offer a presenta"on to the Dubuque area community on Tuesday, May 15th. This event will take place at Holy Trinity, 1700 Lincoln Ave., at 7:00 pm, and feature Angie Breitbach. Invite a family member or friend to join in hearing Angie’s story. Praise and Worship Music will begin at 6:45 pm. Refreshments and social a$er.

Elec!ons for the Pastoral Council and Faith Forma"on Commission will be held the third weekend of May, May 20th & 21st. We welcome all who might consider serving; interested par"es should specify on which group they wish to serve. The pastorate pastoral council meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm for an hour, alterna"ng loca"ons between Cathedral and St. Patrick's.

There are 2 posi"ons up for elec"on; one to represent Cathedral and one St. Patrick; incumbents Jeff Cremer (SR) and Diane Rambousek (SP) are comple"ng a first term, eligible for re-elec"on, and have agreed to be candidates. If you are interested and willing to serve, contact Fr. Tom or Fr. Alan.

The Faith Forma"on Commission meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm alterna"ng loca"ons between Cathedral and St. Patrick. There are three openings on the Faith Forma"on Commission. Cathe-dral (1)- Ma+ Bormann, and St Patrick (2)- Geri Williams, Sharon Wellborn.

50+ Wedding Anniversary Celebra!on Eve-ry other year the Archdiocese of Dubuque honors couples who have been married 50 years or more. Archbishop Jackels and the en"re Archdiocesan family joyfully acknowledge couples’ witness of God’s love through fi$y years or more in the Sacrament of Marriage. The Archdiocese wishes to honor these couples by cele-bra"ng a Mass of Thanksgiving at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 28th at the Cathedral of St. Raphael with a light recep"on to follow.

In Search of Green Thumbs For many years Elaine Steil and Pat Coyle have worked the flower gardens around the church. Our thanks to them for making the grounds look great.

They have asked that we iden"fy some people who might take over sec"ons to "divide and conquer" since many hands make light work! Two families have agreed to oversee the area north of the rectory. We would welcome others so we can divide the area adjacent to the Cathedral Center into two parts. If interested please contact Fr. Tom or Louise at
