My name is Catharina Almskoug. I teach at Malmö Borgarskola, an upper secondary school in the very south of Sweden. My subjects are Swedish, Swedish as a second language (L2), Religion History and Psychology. This year I work with students who are dyslectic and also with students who take Swedish as L2. My organisation is a big school with about 1500 students. They study Natural science, Economics, International Baccalaureate and we also have an emphasis on sports in some of the programs. I have been working here for quite a long time and actually this is my last semester before retirement. I am married and have two children, 25 and 27 years old. The week of the course my husband also visits Rome and we are staying in Casa Santa Sofia in Monti.
