Corbata means tie in english and the first bakers made them called this dessert corbata, because their form is like a tie. It´s a very typical dessert from Unquera, a small village near Gijon.

It´s made of egg, puff pastry and almonds. They taste crispy and sweet. It costs about 5 € (a box includes 10 corbatas).
