HISTORYThe story of ALBIXON began unfolding as a business
initiative of its founders in 1990. After the Velvet Revolution
in 1989, the Smetana brothers started manufacturing some
of the fi rst swimming pools in Czechoslovakia in their
parents garage. It was a time when everyone desired some
degree of luxury and a swimming pool was, and still is, for
many of us a dream come true. The demand for top-quality
pools made of ALBISTONE® and the associated services was
constantly rising and, as its reputation on the market was
growing, the company was dynamically growing. Today
ALBIXON is the No. 1 swimming pool specialist in the Czech
Republic. At the same time it is the biggest manufacturer
of pool enclosures in Europe and is working on expanding
its operations to other continents.

Lean on wall enclosures
Many wall-mounted enclosures can be ideally used where
the swimming pool is situated too close to a building or
a wall. In that case the enclosure is anchored in the
ground on one side and mounted on the wall of the
building on the other – from the top or from the side.
You can make choice between the Dallas and Casablanca
models, in a broad range of colours and accessories. We
will suggest the most suitable solution just for you.

elegantly hidden in it and still instantly accessible, in
close vicinity - therefore, there will be no losses due to
excessive distance of the technology from the pool.
To make your selection easier, we have prepared
complete technology boxes for you, fi tted with fi rst-rate
BRILIX components, which you only need to connect to
your pool and a power source. Therefore, you do not have
to research the best accessories for your swimming pool -
we have done that for you!

Heat pump XHP
The use of a heat pump is the most eff ective way of heating
water in your swimming pool. The pump collects warmth
from the ambient air and transfers it to the water in the pool.
At the same time, the coldness from the water is channelled
out to the environment. A heat pump will signifi cantly
prolong your swimming season. And that is not all. Our XHP
heat pump works both ways - in the hot summer days it can
even chill your water for a perfectly refreshing feeling.

UV lamp SP
The use of the SP UV lamp is an elegant way of ensuring clean
water in the swimming pool without using chlorine. Before
returning to the pool, all the fi ltered water fl ows through the UV
lamp body, where it is exposed to UV radiation. It eliminates all
harmful germs and bacteria and the water in your swimming
pool is pure even without the use of chemicals.

Logistics for SKYTRIUMS and enclosures
Assembled enclosures,
without packaging
Assembled enclosures,
on pallets
This is a cost-eff ective, i.e. most widely used type of
packaging used for custom enclosures, suitable for road
transport. The transport dimensions are determined
from the outer width, outer height and length of a single
enclosure module, with 20 cm added to each of these
values. If, for example, an enclosure is 480 cm wide,
120 cm high and one module is 219 cm long, the transport
dimensions are 500 × 140 × 239 cm (length × height
× width). Enclosures higher than 80 cm can also be
transported vertically – the transport height and width
are then switched. This mode allows for the transport of
multiple enclosures – do not hesitate and contact us for
a specifi c transport solution. This is how we transport
custom SKYTRIUMS, where transport dimensions are
determined individually.
Used for custom enclosures transported in containers.
The transport dimensions are determined on the basis
of the outer width, outer height and length of a single
enclosure module, with 15 cm added to each of these
values, plus 15 cm length per pallet. If, for example,
enclosure is 480 cm wide, 120 cm high and one module
is 219 cm long, the transport dimensions are
495 × 150 × 234 cm (length × height × width).
It is crucial not only to produce an enclosure precisely,
but also to deliver it to the fi nal destination reliably and
in time. Backed by years of experience, we off er you
transport services across Europe, at very favourable
conditions. We use not only our own fl eet of trucks, but
also the services of recognized international carriers.
ENCLOSURE DELIVERY OPTIONS
74
Disassembled enclosures
Boxed enclosures
Enclosures in multiboxes
With or without a pallet, this transport mode is
intended for enclosures that cannot be transported
assembled. The transport dimensions are determined
on a case by case basis.
A common packaging mode for standard enclosures,
with the guarantee of maximum protection and
minimum size. The transport dimensions for standard
products are based on the box dimensions. Box sizes
for custom enclosures are determined individually.
The boxes are always transported in an upright
position and cannot be tilted. Boxes of the Dallas and
Casablanca standard enclosures can be stacked.
This is how we transport Mia SKYTRIUMS.
Bigger customers have the opportunity of packaging
several standard enclosures into a single multibox. This
gives even bigger savings on your transport costs.

SITE PREPARATION AND SURVEY FOR SKYTRIUMAND ENCLOSURES ON THE WALL
If the height diff erence between individual terrace
areas (points) exceeds 20 mm, the terrace cannot be
mounted horizontally unless the customer levels the
surface up.
If the terrace is mounted on a surface with a
maximum unevenness of 20 mm, we are able to
compensate or off set in these height diff erences.
If the customer is unwilling to level up unevenness
exceeding 20 mm, we are able to mount the terrace but
the rails will copy the mentioned unevenness.
It means that if the ground rail is sloping, the wall rail
will be also sloping. In addition, there will be a gap on the
front/back panel, between the fl oor and the horizontal
plane, which we are unable to seal off .
ELEVATION SURVEY
The site survey must include information on the structure of the walls, the header joist, the wall beam and the lintels. It is advisable
to complement the description of the wall structure with a picture, including the proper values - for examples see below.

INSTALLATION OF SKYTRIUMS AND ENCLOSURES ON THE WALLThe installation of ALBIXON lean on wall enclosures and SKYTRIUM is quite demanding in terms of precision. We do not
recommend that you do this alone. You can hire qualifi ed staff from ALBIXON or its certifi ed partners. The following
illustrative procedure shows the installation of SKYTRIUM; the installation of a wall-mounted enclosure is virtually
identical.

Outer pool dimensions
Enclosure length
Enclosure width
Best enclosure size
How to derive the minimum required size of the enclosure from the size of the swimming pool? How to prepare
the terrain around the pool for enclosure installation? How to embed the rails at the terrain level? You will learn
everything you need on this double page.
If the swimming pool does not have an elevated
border, the outer pool dimensions are equal to the
inner dimensions. In case of an elevated border,
the outer dimensions refer to the outer edge of the
elevated border. For overfl ow swimming pools,
the outer dimensions refer to the outer edge of the
overfl ow channel.
In general, the outer enclosure length “E” should be at
least 10 cm greater than the external swimming pool
length. For a pool with an external length of 600 cm, an
enclosure at least 610 cm long is therefore necessary.
This does not apply to ALBISTONE® overfl ow pools,
where a swimming pool 6 m long can be covered by
the ALBIXON BOX „A“ model.
In general, the minimum inner enclosure width should be
10 cm greater than the outer pool size without an
elevated border. For a swimming pool with an outer
width of 300 cm, without an elevated border, it is
necessary to use an enclosure with an inner width of at
least 310 cm. In case of an elevated border, the following
rule applies: inner enclosure width = outer pool width
+ 2 x (pool border height + 5 cm). If the swimming pool
has an outer width of 300 cm and a border 8 cm high, the
minimum inner width of the enclosure should be 326 cm.
The relationship between the inner and outer enclosure
width is described in detail on page 98.
The smallest possible enclosure size is not always the
best. We recommend comparing the minimum size
requested by you with the closest standard size. For
example, an enclosure with standard-length modules
may be more suitable than an enclosure with shorter
modules. The sizes of standard produced enclosures in
boxes - ALBIXON BOX - off er easily the best value.

EMBEDDED RAILS AIR (47°-69°) EMBEDDED RAILS AIR (70°-90°)*
The underlying ground for anchoring the enclosure rails must meet the following conditions:
1) Maximum fl atness tolerance of +/- 2 mm per 1 m of length. In case of greater unevenness there is a risk of
impairment to the smooth movement of the enclosure modules.
2) Rigid connection to the ground. The enclosure cannot be anchored in a loosely installed paving or a wooden grid
which is not properly fastened to the ground.
3) Underlying concrete layer 20 cm deep from the bottom edge of the rails, along the whole length of the rails.
The width of the concrete layer should exceed the width of the rail area by 5 cm on each side.
4) If the enclosure is installed on a fl oor of wooden or wood-plastic boards, it is necessary to compact the underlying
fl oor grid under the rails. The ideal distance between the underlying joists is 20 cm.
5) We recommend embedding the rails at the terrain level only for Air rails.
The Air rails are embedded based on the
following scheme. The depth of the groove
for seating the rails is equal to the rail height
- 20 mm. The width is 17 mm greater than the
width of the rail area. The distance of the rail
from the edge of the groove is 9 mm toward
the swimming pool (35 mm from the centre of
the rail of the smallest module). The distance
away from the pool is 8 mm.

POOL SITE PREPARATIONAND INSTALLATIONMaking the perfect swimming pool and delivering it to
the fi nal location is not enough. Faultless site preparation
and a proper installation procedure are also necessary
to ensure your full satisfaction. Please pay attention to
the following recommendations, inspired by over twenty
years of our experience.
We recommend positioning the swimming pool so as
to ensure maximum sunlight exposure.
We recommend digging a hole about 40 cm deeper than
the depth of your swimming pool. If your pool is 150 cm
deep, it is therefore advisable to excavate a hole 190 cm
deep. The area depends on the actual method of placement
the pool in the hole. If a crane is used, a margin of 40 cm
over the inner pool dimensions on each side of the hole is
enough. In case of manual placement the gap between the
wall of the hole and the inner pool wall must be 50 cm and
in case of on-site production 70 cm. For a 680 × 380 cm
pool, the following hole dimensions are necessary:
680 × 380 cm if positioned with a crane, 700 × 400 cm if
seated manually and 740 × 440 if produced on-site.
The bottom of the excavated hole needs to be levelled with
aggregates (8-16 grading) and drained. Aggregates have to
be compacted.
The concrete base plate must be about 20 cm thick.
Its upper surface should be at a depth from the
planned future terrain level around the swimming pool
corresponding to the outer pool height. The minimum
base plate area should be equal to the outer pool
dimensions. The base plate must be reinforced (ideally
with a 100 × 100 × 6 mm welded wire mesh, placed at 1/3
of the plate height).
The base plate must be horizontal, with a tolerance
of +/- 2 mm from the theoretical horizontal plane
around the perimeter of the pool. Compliance with
the specifi ed tolerance is particularly necessary for
overfl ow pools. If not observed, water will not spill
out evenly around the perimeter of the pool.
SWIMMING POOL POSITIONING
EXCAVATION
HOLE BOTTOM LEVELLING AND DRAINAGE
CONCRETE BASE PLATE
Building preparation86
After the swimming pool is positioned on the base
plate, it is necessary to connect all technology. When
accessories are connected, the tightness of all joints
and pipes must be checked by fi lling the technology
with water and checking visually for any leaks. We also
recommend using suitable thermal insulation on all
components embedded in concrete (in particular pipes).
When the frame of the swimming pool is seated and
technology is connected and tested, it is possible to
proceed with the lining of the retaining walls around the
pool. We recommend joining the bottom of the base
plate with the lining suitably. When lining, it is important
to keep a suffi cient distance between the retaining
wall and the reinforcements of the pool frame and the
technology box to make sure that dry concrete can be
cast into this area.
Before concreting it is necessary to brace the pool
properly to avoid undesired deformation due to concrete
application.
Before concrete work, fi ll the pool with water to a height
of about 20 cm. After that, gradually add water to the
pool and cast concrete around it in layers of no more than
30 cm, making sure that water surface is always about
10 – 20 cm higher than the concrete layer.
INSTALLATION OF SWIMMING POOL TECHNOLOGY
CONCRETE BASE PLATE
Skimmer swimming poolsOuter length and width are 30 cm longer than inner
length and width. Outer pool height is equal the pool
depth plus bottom thickness. For a swimming pool
with inner dimensions of 600 × 300 × 120 cm, made of
a material 5 mm thick, the outer dimensions therefore
are 630 × 330 × 120,5 cm. If the pool bottom is insulated,
it is also necessary to account for insulation thickness.
Overfl ow swimming poolsOuter length and width are 50 cm longer than inner
length and width. Outer pool height is equal the pool
depth plus bottom thickness and 15 mm, to account for
the slope of overfl ow grating. For a swimming pool with
inner dimensions of 600 × 300 × 120 cm, made of
a material 5 mm thick, the outer dimensions therefore
are 650 × 350 × 122 cm. If the pool bottom is insulated, it
is also necessary to account for insulation thickness.

Panoramic module design
SKYTRIUM can be left- or right-sided. When looking at the house and SKYTRIUM, the big module is on the left for the
left-sided option and on the right for the right-sided option. The orientation of custom SKYTRIUM can be selected as
requested by the customer. Standard SKYTRIUMS Mia are always left-sided.
As a standard, SKYTRIUM is made with a fi xed mini-module and a fi xed smallest module; other modules are sliding. In
this design we also supply standard Mia SKYTRIUMS.
Upon request, it is possible to produce SKYTRIUM with 2 fi xed mini-modules, where the biggest and the smallest
modules are fi xed and only the modules between them are sliding.
In the custom option SKYTRIUM Mia Glass with side panels
of safety glass we recommend a panoramic design. In this
case the side wall of the modules is made of a compact
panel to ensure uninterrupted view. This design is only
possible in modules up to 219 cm long and up to 350 cm of
width B. We are also off ering SKYTRIUM Mia Glass with two
supporting profi les. This is possible only in modules length
up to 208 cm and up to 300 cm of width B.

Entrances in front/end panels of enclosures
Embedded rails
Side entrance
There are many options for entrances in front/end panels. We off er left-sided, right-sided or double-wing sliding doors.
For standard SKYTRIUMS Mia the delivery includes a single-wing sliding door whose location and orientation can be
selected by the customer during installation. A new product for 2016 is a sliding front/end panel of safety glass, 10 mm
thick, for an uninterrupted view. We recommend combining this option a panoramic module design. For this panel
option it is necessary to increase the minimum enclosure height by up to 25 cm - we recommend consultations.
Of course, Air rails used in SKYTRIUMS can be embedded in the fl oor. Building preparation is the same as in pool
enclosures, you can fi nd it on page 83.
As the only manufacturer we off er
a side entrance in any module for
SKYTRIUMS. Its maximum width is half
the length of the module in which the
entrance is placed.

Enclosure details
Front and back panels
Elevated bottom panel edges
Clapper
Side entrance
The front and back panels of the enclosure can be
fi xed with screws or attached removably using a
panel screw. We recommend removable panels if the
enclosure cannot be fully slid out of the swimming
pool area and you commonly swim under it. The
removable panel can be fi tted with lockable panel
screws. Depending on the size, the panel can be
made as a single piece or in multiple pieces.
This detail facilitates smooth movement of the
enclosure for example over an elevated pool border.
We off er an elevation of the bottom panel edge,
covered by a durable canvas, up to 18 cm. If the
elevation is higher, the sealing of the enclosure will be
impaired.
The bottom segment of the enclosure panels can be
swung upward for easy movement of the structure
over obstacles, such as steps or a diving platform.
The maximum clapper height is up to half the height
of the front/back panel. ATTENTION! Sliding doors
cannot be mounted in panels with a clapper. Hinged
doors are possible but need to be unhinged before
the clapper is opened. We always recommend
consulting on the use of a clapper.
It is usually located on the biggest module.
Installation on the smallest module is also possible,
but the enclosure‘s minimum height then increases
by 10 cm. We are the only company on the market
off ering an optional side entrance on any module of
the terrace roofi ngs. Of course, the side entrance is
lockable.

Module length
They can be hinged or sliding. The standard
width is 80 cm for single-wing and 120 cm
for double-wing doors. If the required door
width exceeds 90 cm and 140 cm for single-
door and double-wing doors, respectively, we
recommend using the sliding variant for better
resistance. We also recommend sliding doors
for higher enclosures. We do not recommend
a door in the front/back panel of the Casablanca
Infi nity enclosure. If a hinged door is positioned
off -centre, the hinges need to be placed on the
side of the door closer to the axis. Of course, all
door types are lockable.
As a standard, each module is supplied with two
stoppers in its open/close position. For even higher
safety, the stoppers can be lockable. As a standard,
stoppers are installed with access from outside, except
for the smallest module, where they are ready for
access from inside and are not lockable - if someone is
locked under the enclosure, he can easily get out.
The enclosure modules have a standard length of 219
cm, unless specifi ed otherwise. The recommended
module length ranges between 180 and 250 cm. We
do not recommend other values to preserve smooth
enclosure movement. For the Casablanca Infi nity
enclosure we recommend only standard-length
modules. If the length is increased, it may be necessary
to add supporting arches to maintain the certifi ed
loading capacity.

Below you will fi nd standard pool shapes on off er. However, do not be afraid to let you imagination guide you, we can
make a swimming pool of virtually any shape at your request.
In producing a custom pool shape we are limited by two factors. The smallest possible radius
of the shell curvature is 50 cm and 150 cm for swimming pools of material thickness 5 or 6 mm
and 8 mm, respectively. In addition, the slant lagoon must not protrude from the pool width.

We commonly use the following types of pool access steps.
Individual steps are 30 cm high. In a swimming pool 120 cm deep there are therefore 3 steps, while a pool 150 cm deep
has 4 steps. The minimum step width is 30 cm. If requested, the steps can be provided with anti-slip treatment. Steps are
always fi lled up with pool water so there is always at least one nozzle in the steps.

TECHNICAL POOL DETAILS
We produce swimming pools from the ALBISTONE
material with a thickness of 5, 6 or 8 mm. The bottom
may have a diff erent thickness than the walls. Do not
hesitate and contact us to obtain an ideal solution for
your swimming pool. We off er pools in four colours. For
technical and aesthetic reasons we do not recommend
combining multiple colours in a single pool (e.g. blue
bottom and white walls).
All ALBISTONE® swimming pools equipped with an
adequately sized ribbing to guarantee shape stability.
The specifi c number of fi ns and their sizes are always
determined individually based on the shape and size of the
pool.
Overfl ow swimming pools are equipped with a large
overfl ow channel, which fully replaces a buff er tank and
thus eliminates the need for one. The overfl ow channel
is covered by durable overfl ow grating. If requested, LED
lights can be installed inside the overfl ow channel for an
exclusive design which you will appreciate especially at
night.
All our swimming pools are equipped with ergonomic
edges. Overfl ow pools come with an overfl ow edge to
ensure smooth transition between the pool wall and the
grating. Skimmer pools are lined with a border edge,
used in pools whose upper section slightly raises over
the surrounding terrain. Both types of edges can be
complemented with LED lights if requested. The edges are
supplied in blue and white colour.

ALBISTONE® is a revolutionary material type developed
by a team of our technologists and verifi ed by
a number of laboratory tests. ALBISTONE® features high
colour stability and UV stabilization. Its benefi ts also
include maximum mechanical resistance and strength,
extending the material’s lifetime to 50 years. ALBISTONE®
is frost-resistant and off ers excellent thermal insulation
properties. It has no harmful eff ects on health, as attested
by certifi cation for drinking water.
ALBISTONE® swimming pools are made of basic
construction elements in the form of boards and rolled
straps. Joints are made by means of extruded hot-air
welding, with excellent fi nal joint strength – higher
than the strength of the material itself! Therefore, it is
absolutely impossible for the pool to burst at the joints.
Reinforcements and ribbing along the perimeter of the
pool ensure its fi xed and stable shape.
ALBISTONE® has at least fi ve times higher resistance
against puncture (impact resistance) than ordinary
forms of polypropylene.
ALBISTONE® features high resistance to UV radiation
and its lifetime is several times that of other materials
used for the production of swimming pools.
A huge benefi t of this material is its heat resistance.
ALBISTONE® can be used continuously at temperatures
of -40 to +70 °C.
The use of ALBISTONE® is not only limited to swimming
pools and technology boxes. It is also ideal for example
for shower tubs in the colour of the pool as well as for
any applications that require perfect water tightness.
Examples are given on page 104.
After years of use, ALBISTONE® is still 100% recyclable.
No harmful substances are generated during its
production.
ALBISTONE® has no harmful health eff ects. It complies
with the Czech Republic’s health regulations for food
as well as similar regulations in the EU and USA. It is
certifi ed for drinking water.

PRODUCTION OPTIONS FOR ALBIXON ENCLOSURESThe tables for production options, found on the following pages, serve for your orientation, helping you inform your
customers immediately of the dimensions of their new ALBIXON custom enclosure.
Please pay attention to the below instructions on how to work with the following pages quickly and easily.
1) First find the page with the enclosure model concerned (e.g. Klasik).
2) Choose the outer enclosure width and the number of modules. If the width is for example 320 cm. The colour of
the cell shows the profiles and the rails with which the enclosure in the required size is produced as a standard.
You will always find an explanation under the table.
3) The cell where the selected line and column intersect shows the possible range of heights for the chosen width
and number of enclosure modules. If there are two lines in the cell, the first line indicates the range of heights for
Standard rails, the other line for Elegance rails. In our case the Klasik enclosure with an outer width of 320 cm and
3 modules can be manufactured in the height range of 95 - 175 cm for Standard rails and 100 - 175 cm for Elegance rails.
4) The tables of options indicate only general rules. Depending on the exact enclosure configuration and the place
of installation, we reserve the right to use other, mostly stronger, profiles than those indicated in the tables for the
specific enclosure size.
Relationship between outer and inner enclosure width
Outer enclosure width can be calculated from inner width as follows:
1) Swimming pool enclosure: outer width = inner width + (number of modules - 1) × 2 × axial rail distance
2) Wall-mounted enclosures and terrace roofing: outer width = inner width + (number of modules - 1) × axial rail
distance
The axial distance of the rails is 7 cm for Air rails and 11 cm for Standard 110 mm rails.

To ensure the most effi cient use of the XHP heat pump, we recommend following the instructions below during
installation.
For an easier planning of the XHP heat pump location
we indicate all of its dimensions.
Place the heat pump suffi ciently far from other objects
(e.g. walls or buildings). It is the only way to guarantee
maximum effi ciency.
Connect the heat pump all the way into the fi ltration
circuit, as close to the pool jets as possible, to avoid heat
losses before the warm water reaches the swimming
pool.
We recommend installing technology in the swimming
pool as indicated in the following schemes. For perfect
functioning, the installation height is particularly
important in case of the swim jet. Conversely, in case
of jets these are only recommendations and ALBIXON
standards and it is possible to deviate from them.

In the scheme below you will see the connection of the
salt water chlorinator Hidrolife. Components highlighted
in blue are not part of the basic package and are only
options. Those highlighted in red are only consumables.
In general, all the water in a swimming pool should be
fi ltered at least four times a day. We should therefore
divide the volume of your pool by 6 to obtain the
minimum necessary fi ltration output. If you plan to buy
a swimming pool with a volume of 24 m3, you will need
a fi ltration system with a minimum output of 4 m3/h.
This only applies in an ideal case when the box is located
just next to the swimming pool, at the same height.
If the technology is placed farther from the pool and/
or higher than the pool, for example in the garage or
a garden shed, we recommend using technology with at
least 50% more performance.
If the swimming pool is equipped with a swim jet, we
recommend installing the box within 3 m of the pool,
otherwise there is a risk of loss of swim jet power and
worse control.

ALBIXON’s powder coating plant was set up in May 2000
and provides high-quality chemical pre-treatment and
powder coating (Komaxit). All of the paints used are
certifi ed under QUALICOAT, QUALIDECO, TIGER Drylac®,
IGP and GSB. The unique size of our curing oven
9 x 2.4 x 0.6 m and the option of coating vehicles with
a weight of up to 750 kg per axle make us a true specialist
in this fi eld.

DECORAL LINEIn February 2006 the powder coating shop was enlarged
with unique technology for challenging designs – the
DECORAL surface treatment unit. This equipment is used
wherever ordinary powder paints are not enough. We
achieve a very unique, design-boosting eff ect by applying
special powder paint and subsequent sublimation of
ink from a transfer foil into which the painted object is
wrapped. The foil then transfers the decoration, such as
wood, granite, marble or other special patterns. All of the
paints and foils used are certifi ed under QUALIDECO.
Fast delivery is a priority for us. Our production capacities
and three-shift regime allow us to off er very attractive
delivery times of only several days. In addition to that, we
are able to paint multiple shades on a single day.
We transport painted materials directly from our paint
shop using our company‘s trucks or contracted carriers
we cooperate with.
We are fully aware of the need for social and
environmental responsibility and these areas are
therefore integrally embedded into our corporate policy.
The powder coating and decoration technology ranks
among the most environmentally-friendly and cost-
effi cient technologies.
The guarantee of top quality, resistance and durability of
the surface fi nish is, nevertheless, preserved. DECORAL
does not contain any dangerous chemicals and is not
harmful to the environment. It produces an unparalleled
design of wood décor without dangerous timber mining.
At the same time it can be used to imitate minerals such
as marble or granite.
