Greetings to all our loyal customers and welcome to our new catalogue for 2012.Once again we have put together a mixture of tried and trusted quality products, along with some new and innovative items.

Last year we introduced a new category of energy saving products which proved extremely popular and we expect this trend to continue as a result of rising energy costs. We now have a new Solar Monitor which will be of interest to householders with solar systems installed.

Our range of Solar and Dynamo powered radios has been enhanced by the addition of the new Eton Raptor with great features and stylish design. Many of our customers will be pleased to learn that we will again be offering a Freeplay Lifeline radio to meet the particular requirement of Third World countries for Humanitarian Aid projects – available in December 2011.

We also have new LED Dynamo and Solar Powered Lanterns for both emergencies and outdoor leisure activities. The unique rangeof Murano Solar Globe lights for the garden proved very successful last year and these are again available, together with two new novelty items, Turtle and Candle.

Our Solar Charger section continues to expand to meet the ever increasing needs of people wishing to stay connected whilst on the move.

CONTENTS

The Freeplay Companion Radio promises assured listening, anytime, anywhere. This compact, robust radio boasts a rubberised body with recessed control knobs for impact resistance and comfort. The Companion is a radio and a flashlight that fits easily into your bag, your glove box or your drawer. The AM/FM radio has an earphone socket for personal listening. The flashlight has 3 LEDs with optics optimised for a focused light.

Offering a choice of self-charge, solar and external recharge power options, A 1 minute wind gives you 20 minutes of radio listening at normal volume, or 30 minutes of light, and you can wind some more at any time for as much play time / shine time as you want. An LED charge level indicator tells you the best speed to wind.

In direct sunlight the Freeplay Companion will charge itself and play continuously. These lightweight, compact powerful solar battery chargers come in two versions. One allows you to connect USB devices and powers two AA batteries. The other powers 4 AA batteries at a time, but doesn’t have the USB option.

Proprietary charging circuitry maximises charge into the batteries providing a full charge in four hours of full sun and with a charging light on the side of the enclosure, indicates charging status.
