The PV485 is a customizable, all-in-one color displayand controller designed to meet the needs of modernelectronic engines and equipment applications. Its rugged design offers a wide array of configurable I/O and supports both mechanical and J1939 electronic engines.

The PV485 also supports Tier 4 and stage IV engines, helping to make your transition to Tier 4 easier.

The PV485 controller is compatible with the PowerVision Configuration Studio® software, so custom configurations can be quickly developed. With the PowerVision Configuration Studio software, it’s easy to define the user interface screens, as well as the functionality and sequence of events controlled by the PV485. You can configure equipment control such as: autostart, pressure control, data logging and alarms. You can even add custom graphics and company branding to the user interface.

The PowerView 780 display is a full-featured, configurable display that integrates vital engine, transmission and diagnostic information into an easy-to-read operator interface. Integrate even more functionality into the display by way of the five available digital inputs. Additional switches can be wired into the display through the digital inputs and broadcast on the CAN bus. The PV780 features a full color, 7-inch bonded LCD for brighter, smoother graphics and best-in-class

sunlight readability. The display’s bonded LCD and rugged design make it a great solution for all types of environments and applications. PowerCore® MPC-10The Murphy PowerCore MPC-10 Controller is a

general, all-purpose manual/auto start and manual/auto throttling engine controller designed with rental applications in mind. While reprogrammable, the MPC-10 follows a standard operating sequence. This operating sequence is a set of 22 machine states that happen in a predetermined order. Machine states can be set to zero if not needed or adjusted to fit the application. The menu structure is incredibly versatile, with the ability to change many parameters and settings from the face without the need of a PC tool, if desired.

The Murphy PowerCore 20 Controller (MPC-20) features an out-of-the-box fully sealed industrial controller for various environments. This controller is powerful and full of easy-to-use features for most applications.The MPC-20 has a large 3.8-inch [97 mm] QVGA Monochrome LCD. The controller is capable of handling sophisticated engine diagnostics whether installed on a mechanical or electronic engine.

The MPC-20 is targeted at pumping and irrigation applications but can be used and utilized in many other applications requiring an auto or manual start controller. Customize and save default settings for specific applications with the user-friendly configuration tool. Available in English and Spanish. Murphy’s PowerCore Intelligent Xpansion module expands CAN bus control networks by replacing existing relay and fuse boxes with more reliable, solid-state switches that can directly drive work lights, wiper motors, cooling fans, directional DC motors and other high-current loads.

Each of the 12 PDM outputs can switch or proportionally control up to 15 A loads in 2.5 A increments and feature over-current detection and shut-down capability. Outputs are paired to run up to six electric motors with H-bridge direction control. Twelve digital inputs monitor switched battery, ground and floating inputs. Additionally, eight 0-5V analog inputs are available with a 5V sensor supply.

Wiring length is reduced, and harness costs are cut by remotely locating the IX module near loads and signals. Then the I/O is multiplexed using a CAN bus network, which allows engineers to greatly simplify harness design for ease of installation and improved reliability. For applications not requiring a CAN bus control, the inputs can directly trigger outputs so there is no need for a separate controller. The enclosure is fully sealed and potted to withstand wash down and protect from dust.

CONFIGURATION STUDIO®

Murphy’s PowerVision Configuration Studio® software allows you to customize multiple aspects of your PowerView/HelmView display from a personal computer.

Choose from our library of icons and backgrounds or upload your own images to design uniquely customized equipment screens. The configuration tool offers varying levels of control – from basic display options to in-depth custom programming through C-code syntax scripting capabilities.

The software tool comes pre-loaded with more than 100 commonly used J1939 and NMEA parameters. Additional parameters can be imported through CANCapture® or other CAN analysis software. In addition, the tool supports several protocols for machine integration, including J1939, CANopen, NMEA and proprietary CAN protocols through FreeForm CAN protocol.

By performing the changes yourself through the simple interface, you no longer have to wait on the display provider to complete costly changes, plus you save time getting your product to market faster.
