Una possibi le risposta al la giacenza polverosa delle opere nelle case degli artisti – credetemi avviene

anche nei casi di successo commerciale – è esporle. Con i costi esatti dal le gal lerie, farlo diventa

sempre più problematico, e anche se si guarda alle scelte più efficaci nel raggiungere un pubblico

numeroso, spesso il punto debole è che sia anche colto i l messaggio dell 'artista. Una possibi le

soluzione è avere tutte insieme più mostre simultanee con visitatori che si scambiano da una all 'altra.

Creare quindi una babele di visite guidate, nomi, riferimenti che si accavallano su due vani, indurre

scosse emozionali su chi prenoterà la visita. Mi fa sorridere pensare a gente in fi la che aspettando

segue un'altra mostra. Così sarà, e i l culmine lo raggiungeremo il 2 maggio, quando oltre al le tre

mostre al lestite - Tre stagioni e una gall ina, Fail Better, L'Auriga Tentacolare - arriverà I laria Grin che

andrà a instal larsi al posto di Augusto Davide Lanzetti .

Ci sarà quindi la possibi l ità di assistere al disal lestimento e al successivo allestimento con una

sovrapposizione che potrà ricordare una eclissi.

Don Manuel Bueno Martire (DMBM) ha già esposto da noi ed è presente tra gl i artisti del la col lezione

permanente della gal leria. I l suo lavoro asciutto, preciso, geometrico, spazia tra divisionismo e op art.

La mostra in oggetto è provocatoria, e ironica; ho deciso di abbinare la gall ina che ricorda con i suoi

colori al legri la primavera, al le tre stagioni (autunno, inverno, estate) presentate da DMBM. Quasi

sicuro che non ne realizzerà una quarta, ho pensato di suggerirla con la sua gall ina.

I colori ci dicono con chiarezza che siamo nella campagna toscana, assolata o gelida, dominano le

crete. I l cielo invernale in cui i l bianco è lasciato al la tela divisa in quadratini estremamente precisi è

inquietante e al contempo ipnotico. L'unico cipresso che unisce le rappresentazioni come una sorta

di sentinel la immobile, che cambia di colore ma non perde la sua funzione di discriminante

geometrico, è i l punto focale delle composizioni. Le nuvole dominano i ciel i e ne stabil iscono le

proporzioni. A volte ricordano isole, altre satel l iti , ma sono sempre imponenti e compatte. C'è una

distinzione voluta e rimarcata nel passaggio degli spigol i e cuspidi che abbondano nella

raffigurazione del cielo (fino a raggiungere il massimo nell 'inverno) al le curve dolci e morbide della

terra lavorata. Se qualcosa sta per accadere o è accaduto è venuto dall 'alto; ciò che è sotto accoglie

con imperturbabile ferti l i tà. I raccolti sono suggeriti dai colori e da essi si ricava una presenza umana

che non contamina le opere con figure dirette, ma le permea con i suoi effetti indiretti . I campi non si

arano e seminano da soli , i cipressi non crescono isolati .

If artworks are taking dust into artists' studios, and this happens also to accomplished ones, one

possible answer is to exhibit them. Sadly, gal leries high commissions and fees make this option very

expensive, and even if a big audience is reached we are never sure that visitors catch the real sense of

the artworks. In this sense, it can be useful to hold simultaneously more

than one exhibition, with visitors that flow from one to another. In this way, we can create a sort of

Babel of guided visits, nouns and references which come across each others, creating emotional

shakes. I t's funny to think of people that visit an exhibition while queuing for another one. At Casa Là

Farm Gallery we'l l experience such a situation, reaching the climax on the 2th of May 201 5, when three

exhibition wil l be hold together - Tre stagioni e una gall ina, Fail Better, L'Auriga Tentacolare – and a

fourth (I laria Grin solo show) wil l be displayed in place of Augusto Davide Lanzetti paintings.

Visitors wil l have the possibi l ity to watch the end of an exhibition and the beginning of a new one, with

an overlapping effect that reminds an eclypse.

Don Manuel Bueno Martire (DMBM) had already exhibited his works in our gallery and features among

the artists of our permanent col lection. His work, so clean, precise and geometric, goes from

divisionism to op art. His new show is ironic and provocative. I decided to put the painting “The Hen”,

which reminds of Springtime with its joyful colors, to the “Three seasons” (Fall , Winter, Summer).

DMBM wil l hardly add the fourth season to the other three: that's why I decided to suggest the missing

one with his Hen.

Depicted colors are the one of Tuscany countryside; sunny or frozen, the clay soil color of the “Crete”

dominate every painting. The Winter sky, textured with a precise palette knife scratched grid, is

disturbing and poetic at the same time. The lonely cypress, which is the common element of these

three paintings and link them to each other l ike a standig sentinel, changing its color but not its funcion

of geometric discriminating factor, is the focal point of these works. Clouds dominate the skies and

settle the proportions. Sometimes they remind an island, some other satel l ites; in both cases, they are

majestic and compact. The artist wanted to distinguish among the cuspids and corners, so abundant in

its skies (reaching the maximum on “The Winter”), and the smooth and sweet curves of ploughed

ground. I f anything happened or is going to happen, surely it comes from above; what's under wil l

embrace it with its imperturbable ferti l i ty. Harvests are suggested from the colors, which are hints to

discover a human presence which doesn't contaminate the artworks with depicted people, but it

permeate them with its indirect effects. Fields don't plough by themselves; cypresses don't grow up

isolated.

Don Manuel Bueno Martire, al ias Diego Perucci, è nato a Brescia nel 1 985 e vive e

lavora fra Brescia e Siena. È presidente dell 'associazione culturale RéSISTANCe di

Siena dal 201 0, attiva nella ricerca, nel la produzione artistica e nell 'organizzazione di

eventi. Ha fondato l 'associazione culturale Dottor Cardoso. È pittore, performer e

regista.

works and live between Brescia and Siena. Since 201 0, he is president of the cultural

association RéSISTANCe, which promotes artistic activities and cultural events. He

founded the cultural association Dottor Cardoso. He is painter, performer and director.
