Al igual como aconteciera en muchos países del mundo, y particularmente en América Latina, la elección de la Ciudad Capital, motivó desencuentros políticos y enfrentamientos armados, originados generalmente por el caciquismo de los terratenientes. Hemos querido rescatar la figura de un gran político y pensador argentino: Dardo Rocha. Con una visión futurista y pacificadora logró sobreponerse, a costa de su vida, y conseguir fundar en plena Pampa Argentina, la Ciudad de La Plata habitada en esos tiempos por indios pampeanos, a los cuales supo integrar en su proyecto. Así, consiguió cumplir un sueño que comienza a finales del siglo XIX, y hoy es una realidad de las más atractivas del continente sudamericano Historically, the selection of the city that had to be the Capital of a Country, specially in Latin-America caused political and armed conflicts generated by the despotic landowners. We wanted to rescue the figure of a magnificent Argentinean politic and thinker: Dardo Rocha. With a futurist pacifist vision he get the fund of the city of La Plata, in the middle of the Argentinean Pampas. On those times, that place was inhabited by native Indians, but he decide to integrate this population on his project. He saw a dream come true that began at the end of the 9th century, and today it's one of the most attractive realities in South-America.

En realidad un Mundo desconocido para muchos. Deep Land shows us the history and traditions of the Argentina Pampas. It's a walk through the time since the 19th century, where we find Native inhabitants, forts called "fortines" that are the testimonies of the bloody battles conquering territories. And we discover the most mythic character on that land: the Gaucho. The Gaucho is the country- man, testimony and participant of the conquest of indomitable lands, always with his best friend: his horse. A fictional series with authentic characters beside the ones we shared their lives during 6 months. It's something exciting and fascinating full of different historical and cultural richness. El Castillo de los Señores de Cardona, construido en el año 1157, en la actualidad se ha convertido en un Parador Nacional, un lugar donde el viajero puede sentirse transportado en el tiempo. Nuestras cámaras penetran en el territorio de un Documental de Ficción que recrea momentos vividos en el Castillo por los Señores Feudales, los habitantes de la villa y la vinculación con la mina de sal. Located in Catalonia, Spain, Cardona has constituted the center of historical and cultural riches since the Medieval times till nowadays. In our Documentary we show a cultural and mystic discovering of a medieval past that almost exits. To come to Cardona means to revival past times. The Castle of the Señores of Cardona, built on the 1157, it's nowadays a National Parador (luxury hotel), a place where the traveler can feel that it's living in past times. The legend explains the adventures and the loves of a Spanish nobleman. During his life, he was sprinkling romances trough the county of Linares, in Castile la Mancha: land of knights-errant like the famous Don Quixote of La Mancha. The protagonist has inspired a lot of novels, and our documentary keeps the Castile’s spirit nowadays and search the legacy that was left by that nobleman. Don Jacinto de la Peña was his name. Hoy es uno de los 10 países más pobres del mundo, después de sufrir una sangrienta guerra que duró 15 años. El contenido de nuestro Documental es testimonial y de investigación. Los aspectos más importantes son: la infancia, los niños de la calle, los hijos de la guerra, la escasa alimentación, el Sida, el sistema educacional y la falta de posibilidades. Pero, a pesar de todo, tal y como el título lo indica, Mozambique es hoy en día un ejemplo de cómo vivir con la ilusión de un mejor futuro. In the South of Africa, surrounded by the canal that has its name, and limited by South-Africa and Tanzania, there's Mozambique. HOMELESS Coproducción con NEW ATLANTIS Nueva York, la capital del mundo, la gran manzana, el ejemplo más fiel del sueño americano. Estos y muchos otros adjetivos han logrado fabricar el mito de la gran ciudad.

Pero como en todo, existe la otra cara. Una cara gris que habla de indigencia, abandono, soledad y de droga. Para muchos el reverso de una sociedad enferma. Por eso penetramos en el mundo, o mejor dicho el submundo de los indigentes, de los Homeless. Nos hemos podido integrar al grupo de Coalición para los Homeless viviendo así de cerca este drama dando auténtico testimonio de una terrible realidad. No existe distinción, afroamericanos, latinos, jóvenes o viejos son víctimas de este flagelo. Según las estadísticas en New York el 15% de la población tiene el riesgo de convertirse en Homeless

New York is the capital of the world, the big apple, the main example of the American dream. These and many other adjectives have created the big City myth. But always there exists another side, a sad side who talks about poverty, loneliness, abandonment and drugs. For many people, the other side of a sick society That's why we deepen into the world, or sub-world, of the Homeless. We walked the streets of the Big Apple with Coalition for the Homeless knowing and living that drama and showing an authentic testimony. There's no difference between Afro-American, Latin- American, young or old people. All they are victims. Statistics says that in New York, the 15% of the population has the risk to be Homeless.

EL DESIERTO DE SAL DE UYUNI

UYUNI SALT DESERT A poca distancia de la ciudad de Potosí en el interior del Altiplano viven los indios Ahuatiris y Tinkus, allí se encuentra el Cerro Rico, lugar este donde los colonizadores enriquecían al Reino de Castilla con la explotación de las famosas minas de plata de Potosí. Allí existe una de las maravillas del mundo: El Salar de Uyuni. Con una extensión de sal de 12.400 kilómetros cuadrados. Este ha sido el principal sustento del pueblo ancestral boliviano. Actualmente, este desierto se explota de forma primitiva e inhumana. Niños de menos de 12 años trabajan allí sin ninguna protección, quemados por la sal y el sol. Con una pequeña pala hacen montículos que luego los camiones recogerán. Les pagan un dólar por cada camión, y se necesitan 60 montículos para llenar un camión. Mueren alrededor de los 25-30 años. With little shovel they pick up hundreds of mounds that the trucks will pick. They get for every full truck one dollar. They pick up 60 mounds to every truck. They die around 25 and 30 years old

PANAMÁ Panamá ha sido uno de los más excitantes documentales filmado por nuestra compañía. La deslumbrante unión de los dos océanos que a través de las esclusas parten en dos el país, el recorrido por el lago Gatún embalse para permitir la creación del Canal de Panamá. Hemos recorrido el canal de océano a océano a través de la terrible selva que hubo que perforar para esa impresionante obra de ingeniería. A lo largo de los años que se tardaron en construir el canal perdieron la vida más de 14.000 hombres, víctimas de la malaria, las serpientes y la falta de agua potable, sin contar la infinidad de accidentes. Vivimos durante 2 meses con los Indios Cuna y los Emberá en la terrible selva del Darién. Panamá, tierra que fue invadida por piratas y filibusteros, conserva hoy resabios de aquel pasado, como la isla de Drake, donde supuestamente está enterrado el pirata. Panama was one of the most exiting documentaries filmed by our company. We filmed the union of two oceans that divide the country and the Gatun Lake, thanks to it the Panama Canal was possible. We filmed the Canal from one ocean to the other, trough the terrible jungle that had to be cut to build that unbelievable construction. During the years needed to construct the Canal, more than 14.000 men died victims of malaria, snakes, no water and of course a lot of accidents. To live with the Cuna and the Embera Native in the terrible jungle of Darien was a constant training for the crew. Panama, a land invaded by pirates and freeboters, still has signs from that past, like the Drake's Island, where supposedly the pirate rest in peace

Un padre, su esposa, su cuñado y cuatro hijos perdidos en medio de la sabana nos muestran como es la vida de los que no tienen nada y luchan para sobrevivir. La mujer africana ha conseguido grandes logros pero todavía lucha para alacanzar sus derechos básicos.
