Hull design is truly science married to art.

The mechanics of marine engineering evolve

into something beautiful, graceful and simply

satisfying when shaped by a master. That’s

what you’ll find in Azure’s running surface.

A well-designed hull handles the water with

ease. It feels right … quick to plane and true-

tracking, free of bow wander at slow speeds.

It’s predictable in a turn like a sports car,

responsive under power and ultimately smooth

and satisfying every time you go out.

THE SCIENCE OF HAVING FUN

One glance at an Azure and you’ll quickly

notice a higher design aesthetic. Style lines

are graceful and detailed. Look closely at

the hull side. Note how the curves and style

features catch the light and add reflection.

But they do a lot more. As interesting as

these style features look, they actually

make the Azure hull stronger and more

rigid. Other boats add core material to gain

strength. They also gain weight and add

labor to the build process. Azure designers

use science and mathematics to create a hull

that is not only beautiful but stronger than

ROUGH WATER HANDLING

In an Azure, rough waters simply aren’t a

worry. In fact Azure may be the best boat

to own when weather turns foul or your

favorite lake gets whipped into a raging

beast by other boaters.

Our deep-V hull is one reason. An Azure

sportboat hull provides the deepest

deep-V on the market. The deeper the V,

the better it chews through the snarl.

Hull configurations are measured with a

dimension called deadrise. While it may

sound bad, it’s actually not. It’s the angle

of the bottom of a boat measured to its

widest beam. A flat-bottom boat would

have a deadrise of zero.

The Azure sportboat hull starts with as

much as 42-degrees at the bow. The deep-

V cuts through the rough water with ease.

Along the keel, the hull contours flow into

a 22-degree deadrise at the transom to

deliver a smooth, steady ride. This variable

deadrise is very scientific, created with

algorithms and formulas, and tweaked

by computer models. But the results are

simple … better handling and your greater

satisfaction in all water conditions.

AS IF FLYING ON WINGS

A close look at the Azure sportboat hull

shows an innovative running surface. Along

the side of the hull is the Air Induction

Reaction Vent. The A.I.R. Vent improves

performance, fuel efficiency, top speed and

delivers better handling.

Azure’s SureTrac™ System guides the

water smoothly and helps an Azure track as

if on rails. No slide in sharp turns. No bounce

across wakes. The feeling is like flying.

TRACK STRAIGHT AND TRUE

The Azure StraightTrac™ transom exten-

sions provide tracking and handling that

deliver easy control at any speed. You’ll

notice how well an Azure stays on course at

slow speed with no bow wander. At higher

speeds, you’ll feel the confidence that comes

with sure handling and precision tracking.

THE INVISIBLE QUALITIES

Under the beautiful hull, behind the

sculptured surfaces, out of sight, where

other boats may compromise, Azure

upholds a standard of engineering that

will ensure the new boat performance

that will last and last. Careful design of

access panels and component placement

make Azure less costly for standard

marine maintenance of engines, batteries,

harnesses and fittings. Water management

is addressed with hidden channels that

guide water away from the outboard

corners of the cushions to prevent deterio-

ration. Other water dams and gutters are

located underneath vents, dashes, and

hatches. Should a caulk bead ever fail

during the boat’s lifetime, these gutters

will keep water off the electronics and

out of the bilge.

A TOUCH OF MAGIC

When you ride in an Azure sportboat or

sportdeck you’ll notice something. Or maybe

you won’t notice something — vibration, or

noise — that hollow slap and bang against

the side of the hull you hear in most boats.

The Sound Suppression System is a

bottom-up configuration that begins with

strakes and chines profiled to handle the

water efficiently and quietly. Next, acoustic

control “tiles” are molded into the bottom

of the hull to cancel out sound normally

associated with stepped-hull designs.

Finally, floatation foam is injected in 100%

of the below-floor cavities, not only for

safety and structural integrity, but also

for sound control properties and a quieter,

smoother ride.

labor rate to perform warranty services. This

ensures warranty work is undertaken with

full enthusiasm and full attention to your

complete satisfaction. Warranty work is

never “pro-rated” for an Azure, which means

you never need to compute a reduction in

warranty value for your months of ownership.

If something fails within the warranty term,

we fix it. Period.

Ensuring that we can provide proper care for

your Azure is important for your peace of

mind and long-term boating enjoyment. We

are there for you every step of the way. After

all, we want your Azure to be a source of

pride, joy and satisfaction for years to come.

The hull structure is covered by lifetime

coverage and it’s transferable to subsequent

owners. Also, every piece of equipment

(except engines which are covered by engine

manufacturer warranties) is covered for

five full years. Think about the added value

you receive at no extra cost. This is our

commitment to you and to your satisfaction

with our product.
