Spring, 2003

Dear Professional:

Wow! This is the second rendition our catalog we’ve had to do this year due to new products coming in. It’s amazing how new ideas/needs are coming from our friends in the military and law enforcement and how quickly we’ve been able to locate or invent the answer. I must say, we’re all feeling a little proud right now.

Please pay particular attention to our products in the beginning of the catalog. Our new Cel. Phone blocker is useful is so many applications that we had to stop listing new ways to use it — we ran off the bottom of the page!

We are developing new products on a constant basis in reply to the needs of our law enforcement and mili-tary customers. We are actively looking for new product ideas to develop. If you or your team has identified a need that you have, we want to hear about it. In the last month and a half we have brought two ideas from raw idea to finished product. Our customers are thrilled and we see this ability as a real asset of our com-pany. Please feel free to use this asset.

We are looking to show our quality products to as many people as possible. For this reason, I am going to ask you to rack your brain for a moment. If you know of any other military, tactical, narcotics, K-9, or other special operations types who would benefit from seeing our catalog, please either give them a copy, or for-ward their information to us so we can provide them with their own copy.

Remember to get on our newsletter by sending an email to [email protected] with ‘Subscribe’ as the sub-ject.

Oh, and also check out PoliceOne.com. I now have a column on this law enforcement dedicated web-site and really recommend it to all sworn law enforcement officers — regardless whether you're local, state, or federal.

Finally, REMEMBER, all pricing in this book is for individual unit sales. We bid all agency purchases and we are always competitive.

Sincerely,

Christopher Burton Adams C.

Managing Director

SURVEILLANCE/TACTICAL

POLE-CAT The Pole-Cat was a project born of necessity and a product born of ingenuity. Law enforce-ment needed a way to quickly deploy a sys-tem that would enable them to look into dark attics, basements, and other inaccessible places; they needed it made of robust law-enforcement grade materials; and they needed it done for a price that didn’t scare Captains into early retirement.

Before the Pole-Cat, one of the three had been accomplished. We’re proud to exclaim that all three have been accomplished now.

You can hand a rookie the Pole-Cat and they will figure it out. When you open the case, the unit turns itself on automatically. The camera auto-focuses, and the high/low-light sensors switch the Pole-Cat from a color day camera to a B&W night camera that pierces the darkest of places—instantly. The camera is abuse-resistant, and with the pole-arm attachment (not shown), the camera can be used to open attics, break windows, and hang the Pole-Cat for extended-period surveillance.

Simply, put, this is the first no-nonsense answer to the pole-camera needs of law enforcement!

LAMSA Weapons Systems is proud to introduce this mobile phone with covert, wireless Audio/Video transmitter. The CCD camera views a wide depth of field through the nearly invisible pinhole. The whole system is concealed inside a Nokia "GSM" style cell phone.

The camera transmitter is powered from the phone's recharge-able battery. Under close inspection, nothing unusual can be seen and it transmits crystal clear, color video and audio up to 500 meters away.

Just hand carry this camera in any situation as you would a regu-lar phone. It can even be "accidentally left" virtually anywhere, and if found, is unlikely to be identified as a covert A/V camera and transmitter.

TVS-2 ENCRYPTED RADIO SYSTEM The TVS-2 Micro is a miniature Tactical Voice Encryption Module with ANI Selective Call, Status, & Location System. They are easily retro-fitted into radios to give you unparalleled voice communication privacy - with the best recovered audio quality and speaker recognition in the in-dustry.

Available in your choice of Motorola HT-750, HT-1000, HT1250 or Kenwood TK -370 Series of UHF or VHF hand held, two way radios, they provide true pseudo-random frequency hopping with random dwell, unlike other units that simply sweep.

This encryption system can be retransmitted through a repeater (such as a Kenwood TK-875 Repeater) without any loss of audio quality which greatly extends the range of 2 way radios. SPECIFICATIONS Selectable, programmable code keys: Four System IDs: 1 trillion User selectable modes: Scramble (four different codes) or clear Emergency ear triangulation and lost unit disable/re-enable Line Input: Single Security codes: 100 million

C-Guard is a “Cellular Firewall” that effec-tively blocks all cellular

transmissions within a given area. As a jamming device, it transmits low power radio signals which cut-off communications between cellular hand sets and base stations. The jamming effect can be digi-tally controlled to form quiet zones that accommo-date every security need. C-Guard does not inter-fere with any communications other than cellular within the quiet zone and does not interfere with cellular communications outside the regulated area.

The system utilizes a unique transmission method that confuses the decoding circuits of cellular hand sets as if no cellular base station is within the ser-vices area. Upon activation, all idle phones will indicate “NO SERVICE.” Consequently, all cellular phone calls already in progress within the defined area will be cut off and the radio link will be lost. When activated, incoming calls are handled as if the cellular handset is off and calls may be rerouted to a voice mailbox. When deactivated all services resumes.

The Low Power unit contains one or two modules, each covering a single frequency band (800/900/1800/1900). The unit is microprocessor controlled and has digital power control allowing for accurate calibration of transmission power. Each

module has an internal antenna and maximum output power of 500 mW (total 1W). Various op-tional accessories are available including rechargeable battery pack, external antenna, reflector mounting panel and remote con-trol.

The High Power unit contains up to three modules, each having a maximum output power of 10 W (total 30 W). The unit is housed inside a metal, water resistant suitcase with a built-in heat sink to meet extreme operating conditions for indoor or outdoor applications. The unit can be locked so that only authorized personnel can open it. The unit is activated or deactivated by key switch, making it suitable for secure installations. Sample Applications: Bomb Disposal-Remote Cellular Trigger Conference Halls Hospital Intensive Care Units Classified Areas Intelligence Centers Secure Operations Centers Ordinance Bunkers Anti-Terrorist actions Reconnaissance Drug Enforcement Operations Detention Facilities

GONCZ Hi-Tech flashlights are of the highest quality available in the world and have features not available even on lights that are much more expensive. The standard Xenon bulbs in these lights emulate natural sunlight, and are four times brighter than conventional lights of the same rating.

Rechargeable units use Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. Ni-MH retains a charge at 3.2 to 4.0 Amps vs. 1.9 Amps for Ni-Cad batteries. Ni-MH delivers 90% of capacity at full illumina-tion vs. about 65% for Ni-Cad batteries. Ni-MH retains no memory; allowing a full recharge from any level, every time, for more than 1,000 recharges. Ni-MH recharges in 1/3 the time of Ni-Cads.

All rechargeable lights come with the Fast Smart Charger Model GC-12 which charges at 13 V.D.C. @ 800 mA. With this charger, a full recharge can be accomplished in 8 hrs for the M-10, 5 hrs for the M-7, and 3 hrs for the M5.

We always said we’d never get in the armor busi-ness. In short, it’s a commodities business that runs on competitive pricing ONLY. There’s no in-novation, everybody pretty much makes the same thing and then they drive themselves into single digit margins while trying to kill each other off. We’re in the technology business. We make and sell the products that make law enforcement and military operations safer and more effective. That’s why when we ran into Pinnacle Armor, we had to

change our policy on body armor. This stuff is incredible, and Pinnacle doesn’t just do vests, they can armor just about anything you can imagine.

Pinnacle only uses the most advanced materials for all its armoring applications which include:

Body Armor • Contour Style Concealable Vest for increased comfort in hot areas. Up

to Level III-A+

• San Diego Style with full wrap around coverage. Up to Level III-A+

• The SOV series of tactical vests in Level III that will stop 7.62x39mm and SS109 Green tip 5.56 bullets.

• X-2 and Survivor Series of Correctional Armor come Level-III spike and edge blade certified, and they don’t allow any of the penetration allowed by NIJ.

• The rapidly deployable Tactical line which can be deployed quickly and zips up like a jacket. Up to Level III.

• Full coverage Fragmentation Vests that will also stop armor piercing pistol rounds.

• Surveillance series of overt vests for paramedics, journalists, firefighters and other non-combatants. Comes in adjustable and non-adjustable.

• The UDT vest designed for hard use in and out of the water. Specially designed for diving.

• X-2 and X-2 Plus panels which can be added to most vests and pre-mushroom bullets hit-ting the vest which makes them much easier for the vest to stop them. X-2 panels added to a Level III-A+ vest will raise that vest to a Level III-B+ and the material is only 1/10” thick.

Specialty Armor • Ballistic blankets for area protection, protection of open-

ings, and to cover movement.

• Bullet, blast, and fragmentation protection for doors, glass, and custom structures such as pass-through package re-ceivers.

• Custom bullet, blast, fragmentation, and attack protection safe rooms, interrogation rooms, structures, automobiles, and buildings.

Armor Plates • Standard and custom level III and IV plates made of steel, ceramic,

and polyethylene (level III only).

EOTECH HOLO-GRAPHIC DIFRACTION

SIGHT

The EOTech HOLOgraphic Diffraction Sight (HDS) is the state-of-the-art in target designation for tactical operations. The holographic patterns have been designed to be instantly visible in any light, instinctive to center regardless of shooting angle, and to remain in view while sweeping the engagement zone. Re-ticles are designed as large, see-through patterns to achieve lightning quick reticle-to-target acquisition without covering or obscuring the point of aim.

The HDS employs a true Heads-Up Display that eliminates blind spots, constricted vision, or the tunnel vision associated with tubed sights. All user controls are flush to the HDS's streamline housing with no protruding knobs, battery compartments or mounting rings blocking vision at the target area. True, 2 eyes open shooting is realized. Instant threat identification is achieved by maximizing the operator's pe-ripheral vision and ultimately gaining greater control of the engagement zone.

When translated into English, this all means that with the HDS, you will be able to shoot more accurately, more relia-bly, and in the worst of conditions! To demonstrate this, look at the sights on the right where the windows have been ob-scured in two pictures, and the third one is actually broken, yet the sight still works. That’s the kind of reliability you want in the field.

Do a lot of night vision ops? The new Model 550 HOLOgraphic Dif-fraction Sight (HDS) is now fully compatible with Generation I - III+ night vision intensifier tubes. A special night vision setting on the M550 allows the operator to immediately drop the brightness intensity of the holographic reti-cle to eliminate any "halo" affect and saturation of the night vision device. The M550 can be positioned forward of night vision sys-tems without any "bloom" of the target area. Now operators can combine proven night vision system with a superior Close Quarters

Battle (CQB) sight to achieve greatly enhanced weapon aiming while in the night vision spectrum.

Simply put, the HDS is the best aiming system for serious operators. Check it out today!

Whereas dedicated Day/Night scopes such as the ITT and the Seiler Vision-master require that you always use the same night vision module on the same scope or risk changing the point of impact, you can move a 6015/PVS-14 and the OnX2 mount from one rifle to the next with no change in point of impact. When using long eye relief riflescopes, no modifications may be required. When using short eye relief scopes, a length-of-pull extender will be required to maintain suitable eye relief. With proper training, your shooters will be shooting as well in the dark as they do in daylight, and without the expense of buying day/night scope systems that are not interchangeable or having to set up dedicated night shooting rifles.

It is no longer necessary to maintain a dedicated night vi-sion weapon and a dedicated day weapon system. The VisionMaster Series scope, a Generation 3 device, is ready 24 hours a day. When light levels get low enough that use of the day scope is prohibited, the Visionmaster Series can be switched from a day scope to a night vision in less than 30 seconds, with no special tools and no shift in point of impact.

The special lens coating is designed to give optimum light transmission in the light wave of 400 to 900 nanometers. The reticle is a triplex mil dot ranging reticle, which gives accurate ranging both day and night. The special 56 MM (2.5-10x) and 80 MM (6-16x) objective lenses provide the clearest image in the lowest light of any rifle scope in the world today.

The PalmIR (IR-250) Thermal Camera detects minute differences in the amounts of infrared (IR) emitted from a viewed scene and converts them to corresponding intensities of visible light on a display. All objects, animate or inanimate

emit IR energy at different rates, during the day or night. Different objects give off varying amounts of IR, depending on the temperature of the object, and at different levels according to a characteristic called emissivity. The IR-250 Thermal Camera allows a true see-in-the-dark capability, as well as the ability to observe the thermal signatures in any light condition. Heavy rain, fog, and other environmental condi-tions degrade IR imagery, but the IR-250 provides usable im-agery under almost every atmospheric condition. Direct view and remote video viewing capabilities are integrated into the IR-250. The camera’s automatic mode provides a sim-ple way to operate the thermal camera. Video gain is automati-cally adjusted to compensate for informational content in the scene. When viewing people, automobiles, boats and other warm objects up close, the video gain will be decreased auto-matically to provide more detail on facial features and flat sur-faces. When viewing a scene with low informational content, i.e. a park, field, or roadway, the video gain is increased automatically to provide more detail in the back-

ground of the scene, i.e. trees, bushes and roadways. A manual mode may be selected at any time to recall a fa-vorite GAIN setting, and a polarity reverse mode may be used to view scenes as either Black HOT or White HOT. Depending upon the viewed object and background condi-tions, the targeted object may appear better in one of the two polarity settings. PalmIR 75/EF: $13,257.00
