Producers’ responsibilitiesThe Producers’ responsibilities means that the producing companies are responsible for collecting and taking care of worn out products. Every company that imports a product are considered to be the producer and are consequently responsible.

The Producers’ responsibilities is a manage-ment control measure of how to reach envi-ronmental goals. The thought is to motivate the producers to develop environment-friendly and resource-economic products that are easy to recycle.

In Sweden this responsibility is regulated by law for six product groups: Packaging Tires Recycled paper Cars Electric and electronic products Batteries

This guarantee for environmental respon-sibility is included when buying from a professional supplier. Member of REPAAccording to the law “Ordinance of Produ-cers’ responsibilities for packaging” all companies that produce, import or sell packaged goods are subject to a number of obligations.

Sweden’s business and industrial sector has joined forces to create a common system for the collection and recycling of packaging, called REPA. Our membership and obligations with REPA allows us to use the Green Dot logo.

Member of ElkretsenEl-Kretsen is the business sectors’ service com-pany for collection and recycling of electrical and electronic products. The system covers all of the product groups subject to the legislation and provides good service to those discarding old products. Member of CopyswedeCopyswede is an umbrella collecting society for coordinated negotiations and agreements in certain copyright areas.

Copyswede is a co-operative economic association. Its membership consists of the organi-sations that represent Swedish authors and performers. Member of PWA Promotion Wholesellers AssociationThe members of PWA are the professionally working wholesalers with a distinct business concept to only sell to distributing and reselling companies. This way we work together for a structured line of business. Member of PSIPSI is the largest network of the promotional product business.

Code of ConductOur Code of Conduct is based on the highest internationally accepted standards and each manufacturer guarantees that the conditions and undertakings herein shall apply within their own manufacturing facilities as well as its subcontractors.

We visit our manufacturers on a regular basis and control that the regulations are observed. If requested we can also let a third party control the conditions at our manufacturers’ facilities.

The Code of Conduct regulates that all manufacturers comply with all applicable local, national and international laws, rules and regulations concerning wages, hours, labour, immigration, health and safety, etc.

Our environmentOur suppliers must strive to minimise the impact on our environment by the discharge of waste, pollution and consumption of raw material.

KEBACK produce mainly in Asia and our manufacturers there must ensure that they live up to our demands for quality and mini-mum impact on the environment.

On our home grounds, KEBACK is working hard to constantly enhance our environmental management system. This system clarifies that the company has an accepted environmental policy, a specific person responsible for the environmental improvements, written routines, routines for internal information and education, controls for purchase and the use of chemicals, etc.

The areas covered by the environmental management system are: Environmental management, Premises, Personnel, Offices, Waste management, Transport and Chemichal usage.
