Sun/Ski
Escape!
Tracy Smith, our sister, daughter and friend of UUCC, invites up to
four (4) people to enjoy the North Country by way of her Hanover,
New Hampshire home. It’s a cozy little house in a typical New
England setting, close to the Appalachian Trail, the Connecticut River
and Dartmouth College. One of its special features is a
sunroom/greenhouse full of blooming geraniums & other plants where
you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee any time of year! The home
has a fully equipped kitchen, a 2-person hot tub on one of the decks
(great for star gazing!), and is surrounded by a wide lawn that may be
WHITE depending on when you are there! Lots to do: visit the
nationally known fabulous Montshire Museum (hands on science
museum), shop Norwich, Vermont's General Store, Dan & Whits,
check out Cabot Cheese factory, King Arthur Flour Baker's Studio &
Store, visit Simon Pearce Glass & Pottery Studios, or go hiking, skiing
(downhill & cross-country), sledding, kayaking, walking, or just
hanging out in this lovely but active college town! Two small upstairs
(but delightfully appointed!!) bedrooms share a bathroom, and another
full bathroom is on the first floor. Hanover and surrounding NH
villages of Lyme, Lebanon, New London and Vermont villages of
Norwich, Thetford, White River Junction, Windsor will provide you
with a quiet haven to experience the joys of New England. One week,
with arrangements to be made for a mutually agreeable time frame.

The goddess ritual is traditionally done when a girl reaches menarche.
However, it is appropriate for any girl or woman or person who
identifies as female who has not had this ceremony performed for her

makes a particularly meaningful gift for a daughter from a father or
