Student’s scores, overall grades, and/or classroom performance will be used to determine placement in these classes.

Each class is limited to around 10 students to allow for individual attention and small group work. The class may focus on building and/or strengthening skills, organizational skills, and study habits.

6TH GRADE MUSICIntroductory class designed to get students excited about the importance of music in their lives. Topics covered include:
* Learn a basic overview of piano* Learn about the language of music and gain an appreciation
for a variety of different musical styles. * Learn about the performance and history of the National
Anthem* Learn about rhythm and working together by doing bucket
drumming
For students interested in the musical,they will be given the opportunity to audition for a performing role in the show or work on the stage / production crew.
