Casting Shoot

We didn’t choose this model because he wasn’t confident in front of the camera and in the photo shoots he wouldn’t be able to give us the edgy-indie

look we are seeking.

Page 2: Casting Shoot 1

This model wasn’t what we were looking for as his personality was over

confident and cocky and we don’t want to portray

arrogance in our magazine.

Page 3: Casting Shoot 1

In this picture you can see the model has had his eyebrow shaved and it wouldn’t grow

back in time for the shoot and this again isn’t the image that

reflects indie/pop artists.

Page 4: Casting Shoot 1

I am afraid this models hair was too long for what we were looking for and we have too little time to

get it cut and styled.

Page 5: Casting Shoot 1

We found that this models appearance, image

contributed to each other well but we didn’t feel that he

could carry off our image and his features would get lost and over powered by the clothing

and colours.

Page 6: Casting Shoot 1

We didn’t choose this model as his posture wasn’t

right, he was stiff and his shoulders were too high

and this wouldn’t look well in our photos. We need our chosen model to be relaxed

in front of the camera..

Page 7: Casting Shoot 1

This model had the length of hair we were looking and

colour was striking and stood out yet once again her style didn’t reflect our magazine.

Page 8: Casting Shoot 1

This model wasn’t chosen as we believed her features wouldn’t stand out and

would get lost in the flamboyant outfits and

makeup.

Page 9: Casting Shoot 1

The image this model portrayed was too sweet

and innocent, where as the readers of our magazine are far from innocent and have

attitude. This model just isn’t edgy and indie.

Page 10: Casting Shoot 1

The posture of this model wasn’t quite right and

looked uncomfortable in front of the camera. Our audience want to feel at ease when they read our

magazine.

After an unsuccessful casting shoot we decided we are going to use a celebrity as

our cover star and this way we can incorporate this with an interview with the star as this is what the public want, shown in the questionnaires. Below are a few test shots of our star, this way we can work out

what lighting best suites her face and angels she looks best at.
