Listening ActivityYou will listen to the teacher describe the location of different shapes and symbols on a page. You will draw based on the teachers description. Participants will then compare their drawings to the original.

Intensive Listening Practice DictationDemonstrate their ability to recognize spoken words. Focus on listening accuracySpelling should not matter. Excerpts should be short, spoken sentences. Excerpts should be said in a natural, informal way.Excerpts should focus on one specific listening problem that your learners need to work on. (i.e. indirect speech, plurals, ---ed endings, of vs. for, and vs. or, etc.)The activity should take about five minutes to do in class.
