Helen was born January 16, 1951 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Leon Johnson and Zeffie Shelby. Helen attended Wichita East High School. After High School Helen met Donnie Wynne in 1978, to this union three children were born.
Helen had serval hobbies, yard work of course not only did she like working in her own yard she loved working in everyone’s yard (lol). Helen also liked weight lifting with her brother Otis (who is deceased). She was well known by everyone that crossed her path. Helen was a genuine person with a kind heart; she was hardworking loving and stern. She said what she meant and meant what she said.
Awaiting Helen at Heavens gates are her Parents Zeffie Shelby and Leon Johnson, Son Tyrone Phillips, Brothers Stephen R. Johnson, Otis Johnson, Marvin Johnson and LB Johnson and Sister Lillie Lee Williams. Helen is survived by her Husband Donnie Wynn of Wichita, Ks. Step Father Grover Shelby, Son Kendall ( Mikiala) Dean, Daughters, Dawnle Wynn (Abul Williams) and Trisha Reed. Brothers Melvin Johnson, Kenneth Normore of Lakeridge, Va. Floyd Johnson (Bonnie) of Wichita, Ks. Sisters Mary Johnson, Brenda (Terry) Sanders, Lachelle (Kevin) Bratton and Zenobia (Johnny) Staggers all of Wichita, KS, and 15 Grandchildren.
