CASHO is committed to keeping our industry on the cutting edge. Recognizing that state and municipal budget cuts have been severe in recent years,

it is essential that funds provided are utilized as efficiently as possible. With your support, the 2020 CASHO Equipment/Technical Show is recognized as the show that public works and municipal officials “Can’t

afford to miss”. The equipment/technical show, is unique and varied in nature and serves as a valuable educational tool to all in the public sector.

VENDORSThose who will participate in the show may be distributors or manufacturers of some of the items listed below, which is not a complete list – Landfill compactors, bulldozers, loaders, wood chippers, graders, street sweepers, trucks (dump, garbage, refuse transfer, trailers), and spreader boxes, rollers, back hoes, trench boxes, concrete products (pipe culverts), steel and plastic pipe items, chain saws, compressors, safety equipment, engine supplier repair companies, trailer manufacturers, refuse transfer station manufactures, supplies, weather services, computer services, engineering services and other support services.

ATTENDEESThose who attend include private contractors, public works directors, engineers, superintendents of highways, public works foremen, park superintendents, utility company officials and other state and municipal public works supervisory personnel. The equipment show location is ideally located in central Connecticut, with easy accessibility from all areas – see map at left.

41st Annual Equipment/Technical ShowDISPLAY SPACEIn an effort to properly accommodate all types of participants, three (3) distinct space arrangements are available. A deposit of $100.00 is required to hold a space(s) until March 29, 2020 when full payment is required. Payments “in full” received on or before March 15 entitle a participating vendor to a $50 discount for each space purchased. The program will be held rain or shine. All display space(s) must be paid for by May 1, 2020.*

All inside vendors will be showcased on the main level.Please specify if you have a height requirement with your display.

8’ x 10’ Booth inside main pavilion includes area for small table top displays, brochures, slide projector, self contained viewers, etc. (30” x 6’ table, tablecloth and 2 chairs) Cost: $1,000.00 - Price includes 8 entry tickets.

27’ x 18’ Space includes area for small equipment pick-up truck size, broom display, etc. Cost: $1,200.00 - Price includes 8 entry tickets.

27’ x 36’ Space includes area for larger construction equipment, trucks, or smaller equipment. Cost: $1,500.00 - Price includes 8 entry tickets.

Inside space: for those who sell equipment or services which would be unsuitable for outside display. Perimeters of inside spaces will be draped. (Vendor must specify if power is needed). Free standing “package displays” may be acceptable. As there is limited overhead as well as floor space, an extra charge will also occur. Please indicate if you have such a display. Space will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Outside space: CASHO reserves the right to reject equipment planned for a space which may make it unsuitable for proper or safe display. Any equipment which does not fit the space requested will either be rejected from the show, or moved, or if possible allowed to extend up to 5’ into any aisle at an additional charge of $20.00 per foot. The CASHO committee requires an accurate, prior measurement by the vendor of exhibitor space needed.

One vendor per space. No booth/space sharing is allowed. Partnering vendor will be rejected from the show.

Vendors will not be allowed to disassemble or remove equipment until after 3:00 P.M. on May 21, 2020. This will be strictly enforced to insure safe departure of attendees at the show.

Special Arrangements – Vendor must specify any special arrangements needed and list type and size of equipment to be accommodated in their space.

Insurance – Vendor certifies by signing and contracting for space that he has adequate property and liability insurance for all equipment or displays.

Cancellation – prior to May 1, 2020 is allowed with a 25% administrative charge.

TICKETSPlease distribute tickets in advance of the show. CASHO cannot be responsible for any vendor tickets at the gate on the day of the event that are in someone else’s name. TICKETS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE.

EQUIPMENT DISPLAY AREA ARRANGEMENTSSet Up – Equipment must be delivered by exhibitors on May 20, 2020, beginning at 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Inside displays should be set up at that time.

Removal – Equipment must be removed by 6:00 P.M. the day of the show or charges will result from required movement from the main display area. If a problem is anticipated, show management should be notified.

Dismantling – Please be advised that dismantling of booths is not allowed until after 3:00 P.M. on the day of the show to insure safe departure of attendees at the show. Equipment and show material must be removed from the property by 6:00 P.M. same day.

NOTICE OF INSURANCE – In addition to CASHO General Show Insurance, display vendors must also certify that their equipment is fully covered by their own insurance for fire, theft, liability and general comprehensive. Please sign this verification of your insurance with contract. I ALSO AGREE THAT I HAVE READ AND WILL ABIDE BY THE EXHIBITOR ANNOUNCEMENT OF THIS CONTRACT.
