Case study with Super Communications Super Communications currently comprises several divisions: (Parity Solutions, Inition and Golden Square) offering a wide range of services. Parity Solutions provides IT and software solutions. Inition is based at the heart of the hi-tech community in Shoreditch East London and specialises in the development of immersive experiences and cutting-edge projects including 3D printing and scanning. The Business Challenge Since Super Communications includes several different divisions the issues which needed to be addressed were potentially very complex. The management team began by looking at the system being used to run Parity Solutions and recognised that is was very out of date - it needed upgrading or replacing to get the efficiency they required. They also wanted to look at their hi-tech division Inition which had very different needs but was also running on outdated processes - in this case Excel spreadsheets. The Solution Chief Operating Officer, Zahur Amin, turned to In Cloud Solutions for advice and we recommended SAP’s Business ByDesign for both divisions. We began work with Parity Solutions but were able to bring Inition online at a later date even though they are very different companies - one is professional services and the other includes elements of product and design. For Parity Solutions, functions such as Revenue Recognition were very important while for Inition they were looking at elements like in-built approval processes. Using Business By Design we were able to satisfy both sets of needs as well as supplying core functions such as Project Accounting, Finance and CRM. The project was implemented swiftly and the time taken to bring in the second division was minimal.
