Taster Sessions as part of the Recruitment & Selection Process To offer new potential volunteers an opportunity to experience volunteering in a residential care home, James of Senior Fitness offers taster sessions at Moorland View. He takes volunteers around the home where they are supported by him to engage residents in activities. The activities are interactive and fun and volunteers meet the residents when they are alert and happy. James is an excellent role model on how to interact with older resi- dents and is friendly and supportive of the volunteers. James has worked with 13 volunteers to date and is a true asset to this project.
