Global Annual Conference

•  Provided live community management during Global Conference sessions

•  Monitored and responded to questions throughout the Global Conference

•  Managed the Yammer Help Group, posting tips and information for users

•  Created branded help resources distributed to Yammer users

During the Global Annual Conference for over 400 top executives, the new Global Strategy 2020 was announced. Many conference sessions were live streamed, and colleagues across the globe used Yammer to share their feedback, ask questions, and feel connected to the conference, even if they could not attend. For the conference, Enterprise Strategies:

•  Interacted with colleagues to show how to use Yammer effectively •  Developed messaging for emails and posts to promote engagement

Two weeks after the Global Annual Conference, Grant Thornton hosted a week of Strategy Jams to build additional excitement around Yammer and promote cross-level communication. During each Strategy Jam, a senior executive hosted a live hour-long Q&A with colleagues around the world. The Strategy Jam Week kicked off with a session featuring CEO Ed Nusbaum and included Q&As with leaders from across the firm. Enterprise Strategies supported the Strategy Jams by: •  Providing live online and over-the-phone support during executive Q&As •  Providing community management before, during, and after Strategy Jam sessions •  Tracking and organizing questions to ensure all topics addressed •  Delivering daily metrics updates measuring Strategy Jam benchmarks and goals •  Creating a summary outlining the key points of each Strategy Jam

Results Yammer successfully enhanced the Grant Thornton Global Annual Conference and enabled colleagues to connect directly with senior executives during Strategy Jams. Top results include: §  Growing Yammer users in 134 countries §  Hosting 8 Strategy Jams with top executives §  Increasing the number of overall Yammer users by 16x in 3 months §  Activating over 50% of executive leaders on Yammer §  Highlighting 4 Grant Thornton branded Yammer success stories

Our research told us our employees wanted to collaborate with colleagues in other countries and a social network in the office, not just in their personal lives. Enterprise Strategies (ES) helped us plan and launch a proof-of-concept for Yammer as our internal social network, beginning with our Global Annual Conference. ES provided invaluable community management support by answering questions, connecting colleagues and creating help materials to boost Yammer adoption in 134 countries. ES also helped facilitate a week of live Strategy Jams on Yammer with global leaders answering live questions about our firm's new global strategy. This work fulfilled our global communications strategy, achieved all our primary goals, created strong business cases and generated ongoing interest in using Yammer worldwide. The ES team was helpful, hard-working and fun, too. I heartily recommend them.
