“ If I put a job for a Java Developer on Monster, I’ll get inundated with resumes, but the overwhelming majority will have a completely different skill set. When I put the same ad on Dice, I’ll get far fewer responses, but they’ll all be Java Developers and I’ll be assured of having candidates for my client.”

A Proven SourceAndrew Greenberg, founder and President of The Recruiting Division. He manages a team of 11 recruiting experts who, as the company’s website exerts, are “fluent in talent.”

With 15 years of recruiting experience, Greenberg started The Recruiting Division in 2009 on a shoestring budget. Since then he’s grown the firm rapidly and now serves companies across the nation that need help sourcing candidates in IT and engineering, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, and administration.

Greenberg says The Recruiting Division uses a multi-faceted recruiting approach. “In addition to leveraging the client’s resources we bring to bear our own databases, job board subscriptions and social media accounts.” He says one of the most valuable tools he has is Dice. Throughout his career, Greenberg used Dice to source top quality technology and engineering candidates, and once The Recruiting Division was fully up and running he added it to his team’s toolbox.

Finding A Needle in a Haystack – And FastGreenberg knew that top tech candidates make Dice their first – and sometimes only – online job board. His first experience after subscribing to Dice reinforced that fact. Just days after subscribing to Dice’s services, Greenberg used Dice to find a Java developer with experience using a search engine technology called Lucene. “This requisition was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Our client had been searching for this resource for about five months,” explains Greenberg.

After posting the position on Dice he found and placed the perfect candidate for the hard-to-fill requisition almost immediately. “It’s especially significant because this candidate wasn’t on any other job boards. He was only on Dice.” In just three months of using Dice’s services, The Recruiting Division placed six candidates.

The Best Quality Tech CandidatesNow, The Recruiting Division team has five job posting slots and uses Dice every day to find top technology candidates quickly. “Speed is of the essence for us,” says Greenberg. “Dice absolutely speeds up the process. You can find candidates so much faster on Dice than on other job boards.”

He notes that the quality of candidates listed on Dice is unparalleled. The Recruiting Division team uses other job boards including Monster, but when it comes to technology and engineering professionals, Greenberg says Dice stands above the rest. “Responses to job postings on Dice are far beyond the quality of responses we get from anyone else,” he comments. “If I put a job for a Java Developer on Monster, I’ll get inundated with resumes, but the overwhelming majority will have a completely different skill set. When I put the same ad on Dice, I’ll get far fewer responses, but they’ll all be Java Developers and I’ll be assured of having candidates for my client.”

The Recruiting Division recently launched a new website, www.recruitingdivision.com, to bolster its reach and growth. Greenberg is confident he and his team can handle that growth with Dice and the new Dice Talent Network. “We feel confident with our new branding and web site because we know we have Dice behind us to back us up!”
