CAS Group Project Issue: The global issue of the disease of malaria in the countries of Africa. Purpose of Project: To fundraise money for Malaria No More, to contribute to the eradication of malaria by the end of 2015. Goals to achieve purpose: To fundraise a minimum of $100 for Malaria No More, which will contribute towards the expenses of purchasing bed nets and providing medical treatment for malaria patients. To educate and raise awareness of the disease of malaria and its impact on the social, economic, and political aspects of the countries of Africa. How will these goals be achieved? : Fundraising a minimum of $100 Busk at the atrium and ask students to donate $1-2. Getting members of group to ask their class mates to donate for this cause. Sell food (baked goods) to students in the atrium. Raising awareness and educating the school population Creating a desktop wallpaper for the school computers. Creating a media presentation for the TV screens in the upper hall of the second floor and the atrium. Posting and ‘tweeting’ links containing information and videos concerning malaria via Facebook and Twitter. Group members and their respective responsibilities: Adam Marchand
