WINES BY THE GLASS SOMMELIER LUXURY SUGGESTION
WHITE LUXURY GLASS 5 OZ Jermann, Vintage Tunina 2014 30/150
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasisa, Picolit- Friuli- Italy Jermann Vintage Tunina has a brilliant straw-yellow color with golden highlights. Its aroma is intense, full, with enormous elegance and persistence, and with hints of honey and wild flowers. Its taste is dry, velvety, and very well-orchestrated, with an exceptional persistence due to its particularly full body.
Far Niente 2017 30/150
Chardonnay-Napa Valley, CA The 2017 Far Niente Chardonnay offers tropical aromas of citrus and melon layered with honeysuckle, perfume and toasted oak. A juicy entry transitions to a vibrant, yet oily, palate, which builds to a clean and refreshing finish. This wine is well integrated and beautifully concentrated, with lush citrus flavors and hints of minerality. Poggio alle Gazze,Tenuta dell’Ornellaia 2016 36/180
Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Vermentino- Toscana, Italy Poggio alle Gazze dell’Ornellaia 2016 is the result of an exceptional year. On the palate it is fleshy and juicy with a vibrant, crystalline fruitiness which perfectly reflects the sunny, but not excessively hot year. The long lingering fruity finish leaves the palate clean and fresh.

RED LUXURY GLASS 5 OZ
Giodo, Carlo Ferrini 2014 35/150
Sangiovese-Toscana, Italy Lush cherry and blackberry fruit, leather, spice and tannins that provide zest and tone to this sensational Tuscan red.
Amarone Classico, Costasera, Masi 2012 35/150
Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara-Valpolicella, Italy Powerful, complex aromas of dried plums, with 'balsamic' (anise, fennel, mint) traces. Quite dry (not sweet), soft and with bright acidity, with baked cherry, chocolate and cinnamon flavors and structured, noble tannins.
Barolo “Marcenasco”, Renato Ratti 2014 35/150 Nebbiolo- Barolo, Italy
Garnet red color with a bouquet of licorice and tobacco. Noble and generous. It conquers the palate with the conviction of strength, harmony and fullness and holds its sway at length.
Brunello di Montalcino, Madonna Nera 2013 38/160
Sangiovese Grosso-Montalcino, Italy A gorgeous, fruit-driven wine with superb depth in its plums, dark cherries, herbs and sweet toasted oak. It offers terrific balance in its fruit, structure and acidity.
Silver Oak, Alexander Valley 2014 45/220
Cabernet Sauvignon-Napa Valley, California Fruit, with beams of supporting acidity and tannin that give the wine its sense of proportion. Lavender, sage, menthol, licorice and plums are all given an extra kick of brightness on the finish.

BARBARESCO Barbaresco is characterized by its rich, spicy flavors and perfumed sweetness and is considered more
elegant and refined than its counterpart (Barolo), which is a more robust and longer-lived red. Regulations stipulate that Barbaresco must have a minimum alcohol content of 12.5 percent and
undergo two years of aging, one of which must be spent in wooden barrels.

BAROLO Barolo is a traditional hillside village in the rolling hills of Piemonte, northwestern Italy. To earn the name Barolo, the wines must undergo at least 38 months' aging prior to commercial release, of which 18 must be spent in barrel (the remainder in bottle). As the tannins soften over time, the complexity shows through with hints of earth, truffles and dark chocolate.

All Brunello wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown on the slopes around Montalcino – a classic Tuscan hilltop village 20 miles south of Siena. The word Brunello translates roughly as ‘little dark one’, and is the local vernacular name for Sangiovese Grosso, the large-berried form of Sangiovese which grows in the area.

MARCASSIN VINEYARDS PINOT NOIR Marcassin is a leading Sonoma Coast wine label. The vineyards are planted densely, and fruit is picked very ripe. Pinot Noir is destemmed and cold-soaked. The wine is fermented in tanks using natural yeasts. Aging takes place in new French oak and the wines are aged on their lees. No fining, filtering or cold stabilization is used so wines may throw a fine sediment or tartaric crystals. Usually the wines are aged five years in bottle before release.

AUBERT PINOT NOIR Aubert winemaking process is carefully guided by a winemaker with a farmer’s heart and artisan’s soul. The essence of making great wine is rooted in a relationship with the land – it’s about the soil, about growing, about nurturing, about farming. We look to nature for guidance and to science for insight, as we craft wine with minimal intervention so a sense of place is elegantly reflected in every bottle of Aubert wine. We believe the intellectual pursuit of winemaking has to be of the highest, most profound level of quality.

KOSTA BROWNE PINOT NOIR Kosta Browne is a Sonoma-based winery specializing in single-vineyard Pinot Noir wines. It was informally founded by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne. The majority of Kosta Browne’s wine is sold to its mailing list, which has a two-year wait time to join, and an even longer period to get access to its most celebrated single-vineyard offerings.
