Cars in The Outsiders In The Outsiders, cars are an interesting
subject. Cars seem to be a big part of life and most of the greasers, like Steve and Sodapop, love cars.
In this story, only the Socs seem to have tuff cars. This shows the contrast between the Greasers and Socs and how only the Socs are fortunate enough to have cool cars of their own.

Corvairs and Mustangs In The Outsiders, two very prominent
cars are the Mustang and the Corvairs. In the book, these cars are used by the
Socs to ride around and jump greasers. They are also used to get girls.
