Our Schoolwide Program Tests: District Measures:

The student performance data collected at the district level includes Student Learning Objective Assessments (SLOs) in Grades Pre-K through 3rd and District Benchmark Assessments (DBAs) in Grades 4th through 5th in the academic areas of reading/language arts and math. SLOs are also given in 2nd Grade for Music, 4th Grade for the subjects of Physical Education and Art, 5th Grade for Venture (Gifted Program), For students with disabilities who are taking the Georgia Alternate Assessment (GAA) there is also a GAA SLO given. These assessments are administered several times in the year. This data is used by the district to identify strands of strengths and weaknesses. Thinkgate, a web based program employed by the district, did allow teachers to readily access disaggregated data from the SLOs and DBAs through the end of the 2015 school year, however the county school system will be leaning towards another brand to help us identify where more resources are needed and where teachers need professional learning support. Anticipated data disaggregation will also occur with the Georgia Milestones Tests. This data also drives needs based instruction planning within the classroom. Kindergarten Registration Screening, which is given to each student prior to attending kindergarten, is also collected. Data taken from the Kindergarten screening is used to assist students with a successful transition from early childhood experiences to an elementary school program.

School Measures:

The student performance data collected at the school level includes, unit pre/post assessments, periodic fluency assessments, short frequent assessments administered on a weekly basis, and common formative assessments administered every four weeks that monitor progress toward mastery of the standards and guide the grouping for needs based instruction. CCRPI, DIBELS, MYON, GLoSS and IKAN screeners
