WHAT WE DO
Multi-‐Family and Single Family Housing
! GOALS ! Develop and manage high-‐quality affordable rental multi-‐family
and single family housing for low and moderate low income
families, senior citizens, and special needs populations
! Assist residents purchase their first home and build other financial
and personal assets by providing educational programs, credit and
homebuyer counseling, Individual Development Accounts (IDAs),
and other resources
! Work to enrich the lives of residents by providing resident services
including tenant mediation, resources, and referral, asset-‐building
opportunities through holistic programs and service
Small Business Development and Incubation
! GOALS ! Be the catalyst in the region for small business development and
entrepreneurial innovation ! Develop and nurture novice entrepreneurs through the start-‐up
phase of business development ! Assist aspiring entrepreneurs with navigating through the process
of securing micro-‐loans and other sources of funding i.e. SBA, USDA, Foundations, Banks, Credit Unions, and other Lending Entities
! Maintain a vibrant facility that offers start up businesses amenities such as access to large and small conference rooms with media capabilities, Full time receptionist, Copy/fax/scan services, High speed built in and wireless internet, competitive lease rate with utilities included, free parking for associates and visitors, and much more.
Youth Programs and Services GOALS: Develop youth programs and services that focus on what we call the 5 E’s to SUCCESS. I. Education-‐ Getting youth and young adults involved in programs and
services that promote academic excellence.
II. Empowerment-‐ Empowering youth and young adults you give them the ability to elevate their self esteem and build self confidence, while at the same time enhancing their leadership ability, conflict resolution.
III. Entrepreneurship-‐ Providing entrepreneurial opportunities for program participants will provide them with the necessary tools to be independent and self sufficient.
IV. Experience-‐Real life experience is essential to the success of any effort through experience opportunities, program participants will gather the necessary skills that will provide them with real life experience.
V. Exposure-‐Many program participants lack opportunities which will give them exposure beyond the parameters of their communities, exposure to positive influences beyond their community will allow them the ability to broaden their horizons and perspectives.
