Project Interface Manager / Contracts Manager / Consultant responsible for coordination between Exxon Operations Group, Exxon Engineering Group, Worley Parsons Engineering in Canada and Houston on Safety and Loss Prevention associated with Integrated Controls and Safety Systems (ICSS).

This was a Power Plant project in the greater Houston, Texas area and I was responsible for all management of change work process, engineering management, scheduling, cost control, contract management and construction support. This included the incoming natural gas pipeline and gas metering system for the gas turbines powering the generator packages.

FPSO ICSS Package Manager assigned to purchasing department to oversee contract management for Siemens series 7 DCS and Metering Systems for the Petro Bras Baleia Azul FPSO conversation project. Responsible for design and engineering for all export pipelines, Oil / gas / water metering systems interface management, commercial and contracts management and project management.

Construction and Contracts Manager for Commissioning Team in Singapore on FPSO for construction to manage contractual scope of work, management of change work process, schedules, procedures, field construction problems and technical support. Maintained project control documentation, design drawing revision mark ups and change order documents. Monitored contractor performance pertaining to schedule and confirmation on construction installation in accordance with engineering documents. Establish and maintain close working relationship with project engineering, customer representatives on site and construction contractors. Provide advice on field engineering procedures, construction methods and financial matters to management. Provide decisions regarding long term range planning, scheduling, budgeting, work priorities and staffing requirements. Provided the Operation Testing Procedures for the Telecommunications, ICSS and Metering Packages to Commissioning Team. Commissioning Manager and start up for Basin Electrical Power Cooperative on an emission clean-up of a coal fired power plant. This team is a consolidated group that is composed of the client’s staff, vendors support staff and Sargent & Lundy staff. This is a wet gas scrubber process for two (2) units at the Leyland Old Station in Stanton, North Dakota. Develop commissioning execution plan that included schedule, resource loading, organizational plan, engineering and construction contractor interface plan, system completion / commissioning/ start up plan, information management plan and project controls. Develop commissioning team budget and spending forecast.

Electrical, Instrument and ICSS Package Manager for a project team developing the FEED construction execution plan and construction budget for the define/funding approval stage of an oil sands project for Esso-Imperial Oil. This is a 300,000 BBL. /Day facility that contain the mining, production and utility systems for the plant located in northern Alberta. The project team was responsible for the plant infrastructure for the electrical power systems (260kV, 35kV, 5kV & 600V), chemical treatment facilities, boilers (7) for plant steam system, water treatment facilities, plant air system, waste treatment system, river water supply system complete with storage facility and pumping distribution through the plant, fire water system, nitrogen and natural gas facility with distribution system. Develop E&I construction execution plan that includes schedule, resource loading, organizational plan, engineering interface plan, subcontracting/procurement plan, materials management plan, fabrication/construction methodology plan, system completion/commissioning/ start up plan, information management plan, project controls and project risk/opportunities.
