CAREZONE

The Dementia Services Development Centre at the University of Stirling have undertaken a review of the Carezone range and have rated its design in relation to dementia design principles and its usability within a dementia-inclusive environment.

All Carezone colours are rated as Class 1a and are suitable for use in dementia applications. For an environment to be considered ‘dementia-inclusive’ careful consideration must be given to the specification of adjacent finishes with a maximum contrast of 10 points LRV between adjacent floor surfaces.
