Careers Information for Year 11 13 Students

Special Announcement Year 13 students: Please remember to update, either via your Counsellor or in Gateway, your university application information. If you cannot remember your password for Gateway then please email Mr Kuh in the Careers office. Please be informed that should you have any questions related to your IB results (such as university / course choices, just not meeting your conditional offer, etc), you should let us know by e-mailing [email protected] (not to certain counsellor, not to me but [email protected]). Please be informed that your FINAL IB transcripts will be available for pick up at the Careers Office

on 8 July, 2015 and onwards. Final BTEC transcripts will be available near end of July / early August. Should you want to:

pick up your FINAL transcript at the Careers Office; or

have your FINAL transcript sent to university, please fill in the google forms (which have been separately sent to you via E-mail) accordingly. Year 12: You should ALL now have created a UCAS account and linked to school using the BUZZWORD. You now have the time to work on this over the summer. Ensure you have your iGCSE certificates so you can input the correct info. Now you should be continuing with your research and narrowing down your choices of universities, with a range of REACH and SAFETY. Plan for any supplementary tests that you may need to do, keep working on your Personal Statement, plan for any work experience that you may need to support your application and, if possible, visit any universities over the summer. PSAT & SAT: KGV is due to administer the PSAT for the first time in October 2015. Over 130 students have applied to take the test.
