Let me tell you about a remarkable young adult I just met named Ann. Ann recently turned 18, and she is thrilled to be casting her ballot for the first time during the upcoming midterm elections. She considers voting to be her civic duty, as well as one of the best birthday presents she has ever received. As November 6th approaches, let’s remember how exciting it is that we each have the power to influence our government through our votes. The sweeping movements across the country pushing back against the administration remind us that we are not alone in pursuit of an America we can be proud of, an America that works for all of us. Planned Parenthood is proud to stand alongside survivors, immigrants, our LGBTQ community and the people of color who have long been speaking out against an America that has failed to recognize the violence and impact of institutionalized discrimination. With midterm elections less than a month away, we have a chance to turn this convergence of movements into action with our votes. Make a plan to vote TODAY. Vote for those who have been disenfranchised, whose struggles have been dismissed, and whose fate can be improved by the action that you take this November. Vote so that the future of millions of young people like Ann continues to be full of hope and possibility. Vote like our constitutional rights depend on it — the past two years have made it clear they do. In Truth. For Care. Care . No matter what. THE REVIEWS ARE IN…

WE’RE HERE BECAUSE OF

YOU The Power of Pink Conference brought together Planned Parenthood organizers from across the country.

More than 2,000 supporters of Planned Parenthood’s Action Fund traveled to Detroit for dynamic training sessions in July.

The Action Fund is a nonprofit, non-partisan group, focused on advancing awareness and access for reproductive health care and rights. Members and supporters of all ages, races, ethnicities and gender identities attended the conference.

Featured speakers included prominent politicians and leaders of social movements. Participants left the conference equipped to help their community members make informed, impactful decisions at legislative levels, as well as the ballot box, prior to midterm elections.

NOW IS THE TIME...

URGENT: As we went to press, we

learned with dismay that Brett Kavanaugh

was confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The balance of the court has now tipped

against the constitutional right to safe,

legal abortion, and generations to come

will feel the effects. Collectively, we must

take the next and most important action

of our time: Vote in the 2018 midterm

elections. Planned Parenthood will never

quit fighting for truth. Never. As a part of

the Planned Parenthood family, YOU can

make historic change happen for Florida

and our great country. Read more inside
