Dear Friends,

For many reasons, the 2019-2020 academic year offered many milestones, triumphs, and challenges. The world-wide pandemic presented unique circumstances that required creativity, determination, patience, and resilience as we individually and collectively endeavored to navigate unexpected realities. Under the direction of their teachers, counselors, administrators, and other significant mentors, our students heroically persevered and forged forward. We bid a fond farewell to long-standing President Rev. David Carr and Principal Dr. Christine Higgins who unselfishly ministered to the Newman community throughout their distinguished tenures. New faces have joined us while a few familiar ones have returned. We take particular pride in all that has been accomplished and all that will be accomplished.

It has been an honor for me to become better acquainted with the Newman family as I have transitioned to my new role on Spencer Drive. I have been inspired by the commitment of so many of our alumni, parents, friends, and families whose generous support and involvement have impacted every aspect of the campus. We are pleased to share the names of our donors in the following pages. Know that the impact of your generosity is visible each day in the hallways and classrooms, on our athletic fields, and in the spirit of every student. Your generosity allows them the opportunity to develop their talents, pursue their dreams, and achieve marvelous triumphs. Take comfort in knowing that each day they are surrounded by teachers and staff who care for them, challenge and motivate them, and prepare and inspire them to sufficiently cope with the obstacles that they will certainly encounter.

Through your valued partnership with us, we continue to build upon our 60-year legacy. Thank you for allowing us to maintain our vision of “Building Life’s Champions.” With your encouragement, flexibility, and involvement, we look forward to another successful year. By the intercession of St. John Henry Newman, may the Good Lord bless us, direct our efforts, and keep us all safe. “To live is to change, and to be perfect is to have changed often.”
