Use the paper plate as your guide to trace a circle onto a piece of paper. 1 3 Use your scissors to cut the circle out. Then fold it in half again. Unfold the paper. See where all the fold lines meet? That’s the centre of the circle. Take a pencil and mark it. Use the paper circle to trace a new circle onto the piece of cardboard. Use your pencil to poke a hole right in the centre of the cardboard circle Cut out your cardboard circle. Take a piece of colourful duct tape and tape it in the middle of the top. Feel for the hole you made, and mark the centre hole with your pencil. We’re using duct tape, but you can decorate any way you want. Add the duct tape one piece at a time until the top of the cardboard is covered. Fold extra pieces of tape underneath. Take an old paintbrush and poke it through the centre hole. Don’t let the paintbrush go past the length of your pinkie finger. Now take your Artzooka top out for a test spin! When you have your top in place, wrap some tape around the brush to hold it in place. If you can’t spin your top, take the tape off and try again. 2 4 5 8 10 13 12 11 6 7 9
