The chassis

The Fiat Ducato is the safe and reliable chassis for my motorhome. And the facts speak for themselves: 2.3-l-Multijet with 96 kW/130 BHP, multi-jet direct fuel injection, Euro 6 exhaust emissions standard, ABS, EBD, wide-track chassis for excellent driving stability and on-board computer – just some of the technical specifications which make the Ducato the perfect motorhome model.

This type of bed is fit for a queen but fitted within a king-size bedroom fitted into my motorhome. The double bed is in the centre at the rear and can be accessed from both sides. It's amazing how much room you have available in such little space.

Highlights

Attractive entrance and exit, but not for insects

Do you want to enjoy summer eve - nings with the door open? No problem, thanks to the integrated insect screen. The look of the high-quality entrance door seamlessly matches the room design, including refined closing system and ergonomic door handles.

Give moisture no chance

All vehicle doors and all outside stowage compartment panels and doors are protected from rain and splash water by additional splash water seals. This means that moisture cannot enter between the door and frame and freeze solid in the cold.

Three-piece, sporty, and maintenance-friendly

Modern design is not the only thing the new tail lights have to offer. Damaged lighting elements or a damaged centre piece can be replaced separately. This saves you from having to make complex and costly repairs.

All items stored safely

The locks for the stowage compart-ment doors feature a pull-in function.

Gas bottle locker

The 11 kg gas bottles are secure here. You won’t hear even the slightest clanking sound while on the road. When they are empty, you can replace the gas bottles quickly and easily.

Rugged all-weather protection

Hail-proof, long-lasting and weather- resistant: the high-strength Carado composite roof and rear end made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP). With a tried-and-test sandwich design combined with 34 mm-thick insulation, it braves wind and weather.

Awning

The lightweight and elegant articulated awning offers the perfect protection from sun and rain with its 3.5 m, 4 m or 4.5 m length and 2.5 m width.

The side seat conceals a practical stowage flap. It is conveniently accessible from the entrance area – ideal for quickly changing shoes when entering and exiting.

Stowed well means twice the space

Large overhead stowage compart-ments provide additional storage options. This makes optimal use of space in the motorhome – allowing everything to find its place. The panels close tightly and are convenient and stylish with wide stainless steel handles for a stable and comfortable soft-close.

Simpler, lighter and more con-venient: the new fold-down bed

Thanks to the new mechanism, the fold-down bed is easier to lower. It rests stably on special supports so you can sleep in peace. The Clima-Plux elements ensure even greater lounging comfort and excellent mattress airflow.

Stylish and colour fast – for years

Thanks to the long-lasting upholstery fabric, your furniture will continue to look good for many years, because of both its elaborate decorative stitching and its protection against bleaching from exposure to light.

The mattress is certified to be 100% resistant to house mites and is now available in all Carado motorhomes.
