The two-piece cara I-Butment comprising a titanium interface (Ti-Base) and zirconia abutment guarantee you tension-free placement thanks to the same material type of screws – even in large constructions. The tooth-coloured, slightly translucent zirconia gives the denture optimal light dynamics and ensures fast gingival deposition due to its biocompatibility. With the three opaque and five translucent shades, the abutments are available to you in all zirconia shades. The titanium version of the one-piece cara I-Butment is not only attractive with its price/performance ratio but also the host of other advantages I-Butments offer compared to standard abutments. For example, the possibility of a gap-free, solid implant abutment without conglutination. Even complicated cases can have simple solutions. The screw-retained cara I-Butment made of cobalt-chrome is definitely one of these. They ensure a long-lasting, aesthetic single-tooth restoration and allow flexible working even in complicated situations due to the possibility to angulate the screw channel. Produced in one piece from cobalt-chrome, the abutments withstand the strong forces in the mouth and are also particularly hygienic, as the CoCr alloys are more resistant to bacteria than titanium1. At the same time, the screw-retained solutions are associated with a lower risk of periimplantitis2.

Particularly practical for the user: The anatomically reduced abutment can be veneered directly and simplifies processing even more for dental technicians. Dentists who already use our cara I-Bridge already have the right tool on hand to insert and remove cara I-Butment conveniently.

They are produced with the latest CAD/CAM technology in our production centre in Hanau, Germany, and are available to you for all market-leading implants systems or via the “cara I-Bridge New Connection”.

cara I-Bridge regular:

The superstructure in the version with straight screw channels is available in the materials zirconia, cobalt-chrome and titanium. cara I-Bridge regular can be adapted with spacer sleeves or – if the implant is already well positioned – placed at implant level. The screw connection directly with the implant is exceptionally effective and cost-efficient, but also highly recommendable from an aesthetic perspective.

cara I-Bridge angled:

Only cara has the original! The I-Bridge angled is based on the patented production process with angled screw channels. It is a precisely produced implant bridge made of zirconia, titanium or cobalt-chrome and offers you the possibility of angulated screw channels up to 30°. This ensures optimal positioning of the implant abutment without cost-intensive abutments and makes the cara I-Bridge angled a cost-efficient and at the same time aesthetically pleasing solution.

cara I-Bridge X:

The Original Angulated Solution now offers upgraded aesthetics – and the smallest screw channel.

What’s new? The new cara I-Bridge X is based on the same patented technology as before, but with impressive improvements such as the reduced diameter of the screw channel (2.4 mm), enhanced finishing and only one screw for both regular and angulated screw channels.

The choice is what makes the difference.

The decision about which solution is the best for the patient in question is of course yours. The same also applies for the cara I-Bridge, which we offer in four different versions.

If high aesthetics using a tooth-coloured shade and perfect gingival adsorption without a cement gap are required, zirconia has proven itself a first-class solution. The zirconia version allows you to produce bridges with up to seven units on max. three implants, please look at platform overview.

If the focus lies on the same material as the implant, high wearing comfort and a low weight of the superstruc-ture, a cara I-Bridge made of titanium is particularly well suited. With its smooth milled surfaces, the bridge is ready to go for the veneering.

For delicate retentions such as holes or very thin pins and in cases where the implant connections are posi-tioned very close together, we recommend precise reproduction of your prototype in cobalt-chrome using the selected laser melting (SLM) additive production process.

The milled cobalt-chrome version is a preferred solution for small retention pins. This creates even smoother surfaces, which do not need to be finished. However, it is not possible to reproduce particularly delicate details so precisely with this subtractive procedure and they may vary from the prototype.

Two additional highlights for all versions: The cost-saving superstructures do not require any abutment and can be directly veneered.

Applies for cara: In a study, the University of Malmö analysed the distortion of CAD/CAM-fabricated, screw- retained implant bridges. The results confirmed the claims of the superior fit and high level of precision. The manufacturing from a single piece and the material – which displays no risk at all of material inclusions or flaws – are absolutely outstanding1.

Convincing arguments for the I-Bridge: A study by the Hannover Medical School demonstrates that screw-retained implant bridges perform well when subjected to varying levels of mechanical stress. It confirms that the screw which anchors the bridge is by no means the weakest link and can resist loads much higher than the mastication forces encountered in the mouth2.

The cara I-Bar is our answer to your need for a reliable primary structure for a dental restoration that can be removed under certain conditions. To ensure a stress-free fit, the cara I-Bar is produced from a material block of cobalt-chrome or titanium. The screw channels can be angled up to 25 degrees just like cara I-Bridge. That ensures stable bar walls, particularly in complicated patient cases. The dental restoration can be custom-designed and optimally adapted to the natural contours of the gingiva. Simply use the standardised or custom-designed bar and fit it depending to the patient case.

In addition to state-of-the-art and highly accurate manufacturing methods for abutments and superstructures as implant abutments, the expertise and skills of dental technicians and dentists are also fundamental requirements – and that’s not going to change. For cara I-Bridge fabricated of metal, we give you a 20 year quality warranty starting from the date of delivery, provided the minimum dimensions for the implant bridges are observed. We offer a 5 year guarantee on cara I-Bridge made of zirconia. As a result, Kulzer sends you a warranty certificate with every cara I-Bridge to certify that current production requirements were met. This means: If your cara I-Bridge is damaged or defective due to Kulzer production processes, you as the client will receive a new product. If a cara I-Bridge is used and an implant manufacturer fails to comply with his guarantee obligations if the implant fails, Kulzer will provide compen sation in the form of a new milled cara I-Bridge and the replacement implant. We design the construc-tion digitally in the cara Design Centre. You check and approve it with the help of the 3D viewer (PDF).

4We produce the item and you receive your finished framework with model in just a few days.
