Cadaver capsule course on MAST for Bangladesh and Srilanka surgeons followed by VSP( Dates: May 26-29th) We have also endeavoured Cadaver capsule course on MAST for Bangladesh and Srilanka surgeons followed by VSP at Fortis hospital Bangalore and JP Narayan trauma center with Oarm with hands on training in TPTC Delhi on Spinal products and NIM Eclipse on May 26th - 29th comprising of Four delegates , three from Bangladesh and one from Sri Lanka. RTG Academia is happy to share with all of you that we have started this fiscal on a good note by conducting a complete international capsule course on MAST. Three surgeons from Bangladesh & one surgeon from Sri Lanka have attended this course who had a good exposure on various MAST procedures under the guidance of renowned MAST faculty Dr Raja Kumar Course Objective: This course was designed for spine surgeons who desire to further enhance their surgical skills by getting exposed to minimally invasive decompression techniques, percutaneous pedicle screw fixation & stabilization techniques in innovative Medtronic technologies. One day program is highlighted by lectures, case discussions & cadaveric hands-on workshop. Day Started with lectures followed by live surgery videos. Later in Cadaver lab, pre-lunch was a demo on decompression techniques of discectomy, Ipsilateral & Contralateral decompressions. In post lunch session, surgeons had demo on Percutaneous Pedicle Screw Fixation techniques followed by Hands on Practice. Every surgeon had a good opportunity to practice on various techniques. Surgeons had a good interaction with faculty & clarified their challenges in MAST techniques. Surgeons were very happy with the course & informed that they have attended the best course till date. Acknowledged that this facility & course is on par with any international event.
