1.3. GENERAL ABOUT CAPABILITY LIST DOCUMENT

a. TAMPA CARGO developed this Capabilities List Document (QA-TCL) in order to show

the airframe, engines and products that can be repaired, tested, or altered by the Maintenance Organization and the level of work to be performed. This list is maintained as a document separate from the TAMPA Cargo’s manuals.

b. This Capabilities List has been prepared in accordance with the current ANAC

Regulations and the Tampa Cargo’s “Manual de procedimientos de Inspección”.

c. Tampa Cargo does not perform maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations to any item which is not rated as Limited Airframe, Limited Power plant, Limited Accessories, Limited Instruments and Limited Radio according to TAMPA Cargo’s

Operations Specifications and TAMPA Cargo’s Capability List Document (QA-TCL). TAMPA CARGO does not perform maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations to any

item if the required technical data, equipment, materials, facilities or trained personnel is not available.

d. Tampa Cargo may perform maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations on the added item once the Capability List Document has been approved by the Quality

Control Chief. e. Following is the information revised before a Capability / Rating is included at the

Capability List Document:

Airframe and Engine Limited Rating Component Part Number Rating The type of work that the Maintenance Organization will perform, either

Overhaul, Repair, Inspect, Test or Modify, Checks Required Special Tools or Test Equipment.

Required FAA Approved data / Manufacturer Approved Data. Required Trained / Qualified maintenance personnel. Required Special facilities and environmental or packing conditions.

g. The new revision of the Capability List Document must be sent to Publications Area

who will distribute o make available thru Tampa’s Intranet.

1.4. DOCUMENT DISTRIBUTION

This document will be available thru Tampa’s Intranet in electronic way, to be consulted by the Maintenance Organization personnel in only reading format.

Non Destructive Inspection, Testing, and Processing

Liquid Penetrant Liquid Penetrant testing in accordance with above aircraft/engine maintenance manuals and ASTM E 1417 (As revised).

Magnetic Particle Magnetic Particle testing in accordance with above aircraft/engine

maintenance manuals and ASTM-E 1444 (As revised)

Eddy Current Eddy Current testing in accordance with above aircraft/ engine maintenance manuals and MIL-HDBK-728/2 (As revised)

Ultrasonic Ultrasonic testing in accordance with above aircraft/engine maintenance manuals and AMS-STD- 2154 (As revised)

Non-destructive testing personnel must meet the qualification and certification

requirements contained in IS 43.13-003, or for foreign organizations: NAS 410, ASNT-TC-1A and/or ATA105. (As revised).

Welding.

Tungsten Inert GAS- TIG- In accordance with above aircraft / engine manuals and AWS D17.1:2001 (As revised).
