An IT Capability Assessment FrameworkThere are four dimensions of IT Capability that contribute to IT performance and organizational clarity:1. Purpose the degree to which the goals, values, desired business outcomes and guiding principles are defined and understood by those contributing to or benefiting from the Capability.2. Commitment the degree to which organizational relationships and commitment are demonstrated in terms of sponsorship and clearly definedaccountabilities.3. Ability the degree to which baseline processes, structure and competency requirements, enabling technologies and measurement approaches have been established.4. Accountability the degree to which criteria for success and related performance requirements have been defined and communicated.
