Ensuring stable and long term display availability

Each of our display solutions is engineered, designed and manufacturedwith the goal of stable and long termavailability.We understand that mostproduct life expectancies for OEM systems are 3-5 years or even longer.The system is only as strong as its weakest link. Changes to system compo-nents can cause considerable amounts oftime and money to re-test, re-certify andre-train users. With this understanding,Canvys contracts with its suppliers tomake sure that all components will beavailable for the duration of the project.During the project, we advise our cus-tomers when lower cost components areavailable in the event that a mid-cyclechange makes financial sense. In addition, in extreme situations when a vendor suddenly announces that acomponent will no longer be available,we are allowed to make last time buys(LTBs). These agreements help bridgethe gap between the current product andfuture product by allowing the OEM toplace orders now to meet their longerterm forecasts.

Streamlining OEM workflow Procedures

Working with the OEM during the consultation phase, Canvys engineersidentify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency based on the needs of the environment. With the understanding that the OEM may have to physically handle or “install” the display when they receive it, the display solution is designed in a waysuch that the end result is a virtual plugand play or drop-in for the OEM. Withthis being achieved, the setup time isgreatly reduced thus eliminating costs.In addition, Canvys further streamlinesworkflow by offering additional servicessuch as presetting OEM-defined displaysettings and locking out user controls.

What is CFS™?

The nature of medical imaging dictates that itis critical radiology displays present accurateand consistent images over time. Our ImageSystems Calibration Feedback System(CFS™) is specifically designed to simplify the conformance and calibration of all Image Systems diagnostic and clinical use displays.Image Systems CFS™ is the Calibration Feedback System you need to ensure your displays maintain DICOM® compliance and areproperly calibrated throughout their life-cycle.

The CFS™ software can be used with optional,integrated luminance sensors to providehands-free DICOM® compliance testing and calibration. A built-in scheduler will initiate thetesting to occur on off-hours. A log of tests isgenerated, providing a verifiable record of compliance testing.

With CFS™, your Information Technology Personnel, PACS Administrators, and Radiologists can properly calibrate and maintain the image quality of medical displayswith ease.

CFS™ software can also be used with a precise, hand-held luminance meter (puck) tomeasure conformance according to the procedures described in the ACR/NEMADICOM® standard. A custom Lookup Table isgenerated and downloaded at the user site toensure DICOM® compliance.
