Staging area outside Receiving Docks

6 HVAC units to be placed on roof

Landing Zone

Unloading supplies upon landing.

Pilot and crew prepare rigging configuration.

Crew of 4 hooked cables onto units; gave thumbs up and lifting commenced.

Separate crew of 4 disconnected units once on roof; exercise was repeated until all six units were placed in proper locations on expansion roof.

Units were quickly and safely deposited onto roof.

The Air Crane process was safe and very efficient.

Versus use of a traditional crane, exposure risk alone was nearly eliminated.

The weather did not cooperate for the early morning start; lift was delayed nearly 3 hours due to foggy conditions.

Choate Construction, DeisgnBuild Mechanical, Air Crane, and HBI all worked well together, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone onsite.
