Candidates - Spring 2016 Elections for Following Academic Year - eBoard

Sam Murphy is a current junior majoring in Political Science and running forthe position of President. He served as Chi Alpha President during thisacademic year and said it was a wonderful experience that he wants to be

apart of again. He wants to continue the work that has been done this yearand really be apart of what the Lord is doing here at AU. He’s running on theslogan “Let’s do it one more time!”

Lily Slocum is a current freshman majoring in and running for the position ofVice President. She is running because she wants to give back to Chi Alphaan organization that has given so much to her this past year. She wants to beable to reach people and provide the welcoming experience that Chi Alpha hasprovided for her.

Bethany Moon is a current freshman majoring in International Relations andrunning for the position of Secretary. She is running because she wants to getmore involved in the community that has become her home and family thispast year. She is a very organized person, which will serve her well assecretary. She has also been on the planning committee for 3 Chi Alphaevents this year as well as helped run the social media in the Fall. She isrunning on the slogan, “Vote for Moon and we’ll reach for the stars!”

Kathia Mejia is current sophomore majoring in CLEG and running for theposition of secretary. She wants to give back to the organization that has

given her so much and provide a welcoming environment to believers andnon-believers as well. She is very organized and has an eye for detail, whilealso enjoying social media and planning events.

Ellie Esau is a current freshman majoring in CLEG and running for theposition of treasurer. Her experience in Chi Alpha has truly deepened herfaith and provided her a place for growth. She is running to get moreinvolved in community and provide the experience that she had for someoneelse. She has worked with budgets before as Student Body President in highschool, and she is also very organized and methodical.

Princewill Umeh is a current sophomore majoring in Economics and running for theposition of treasurer. He is running because he wants to give back to thecommunity as well as show others the love he has experienced from being amember of Chi Alpha. He has strong communications as well as administrativeand computer skills that will be put to good use if elected. He is running on theslogan, “No fear, No doubt!”
